IIN number on the AOS fee bill

hi all, one of my friend who applied for CR1 just got her AOS fee bill and copy of the DS-3032 she told me the IIN # is on the AOS fee bill so she went ahead and paid it online, so i guess no need to call NVC 50 times trying to get the #...

For those who are eager to pay the fee online before getting the AOS bill, calling NVC is the only option for us to obtain the IIN number. We were lucky as we only need to call NVC once to obtain the IIN.

We have to admit that paying the bill online save us a lot of problem and time.

Trying calling them at night and get the American spouse to call them. They tend to be nicer to American even though they are pretty nice when they speak to me. My husband just need to ask for them once and they gave it to him without problem.

I tried twice tonight to get the IIN number from NVC and they say they dont have it? Also you said you got the hardcopy in the mail today so you will use the IIN from that but I have mine in front of me now and there is no IIN only the case number? Please advise me as to what I am missing here. I was told to use the mail as they are not using pay online at this time? They said have the bill for IV faxed to me and pay it by mail if readable. Thanks in advance

I'm the American as well and while they've been really nice on the phone, their new policy is not to give out the IIN and I suspect that fewer and fewer maverics will disobey this new rule over time. There's really no incentive for them to risk reprimand at work for something they know is generated promptly and put in the mail promptly.

I expect to have my invoice by the end of next week. So, I'm waiting. Also, this fee doesn't hold up much of anything since it is the other paperwork that takes more time to deal with. My affidavit of support is straightforward, too.

When I recieved my AOS bill it was 3 pages, 2 1/2 pages were instructions and options for paying....on the bottom of the first page is where you will find your IIN (Invoice Identification Number) right below your NVC case number...it will NOT be on the last page where the payment return slip is...it is an 8 digit # ...good luck
