What is I-130 Transfer Notice?

Hi everyone :) My husband is about to send form I-129F but we checked on step-by-step guide to include a Copy of I-130 Transfer Notice (indicating where your underlying I-130 petition was routed to after it was filed at the appropriate Chicago Lockbox). We did not receive a copy of I-130 Transfer Notice. We received NOA1 for I-130. Is NOA1 sufficient to support I-130 Transfer Notice since it says on NOA1 the address of the service center where I-130 is ongoing the process? Or should we need to put I-130 Transfer Notice? Where do we get NOA1 Transfer Notice? Please help.... Thanks for your answers in advance...

The NOA1 should indicate which service center is processing the I-130. You attach a copy of the I-130 NOA1 letter to the I-129F and send the I-129F to the service center indicated on I-130 NOA1.

Compare timelines for CR-1 and K-3, for Manila they tend to take about the same amount of time to process into a visa.

Try to keep the I-130 moving, and if it looks like I-130 may reach the consulate shortly after the I-129F, you may want to try to delay the K-3 interview to let the CR-1 case catch up.

If you enter the USA on CR-1 visa, then NO AOS needed. CR-1 has the advantage of GREEN-CARD on entry to the USA, and can imediatly take a JOB, get SSN, and apply for a driver's licenence after getting SSN. K-3 CANNOT take a JOB, get SSN, or apply for driver's license until after getting EAD or Green-card. EAD can take 90 days or more.

CR-1 saves $$$

K-3:

I-130: $355

I-129F: NONE

Consulate: $131

AOS: $1010

($1496)

CR-1

I-130: $355

NVC I-864: $70

NVC Visa fee: $400 ($355+$45)

($825)

Hi Yu and Dan. Thanks for the reply. So we don't need then the I-130 Transfer Notice because it already states in NOA1 the service center where I-130 process is ongoing? My husband and I are confused about it... Is it ok if we submit only NOA1 and no I-130 Transfer Notice? Is it a separate document? Thanks....

Should I write I-130 Transfer Notice on the Cover letter for I-129F or should i ommit that part? Should I put NOA1 for I-130 only without writing down the I-130 Transfer Notice on the Cover letter for I-129F? Sorry, I got lost of questions :) My husband and I just want to make sure we do everything right. Thanks so much...
