We received the NOA for the AOS packet that we sent. Will there be a separate one for the I-765 or does the approval cover all the forms that was in the packet?

You should receive separate NOA1 "Receipt" letters for I-485, I-765, I-131.

They will send NOA's for each - (EAD/AOS and/or AP). You should get a biometrics notice that will cover both (so you don't have to do one for each).

It's not an approval, it's a receipt. You should receive three separate NOAs, one for each form you filed (AOS, EAD, AP).

I was just curious because I wanted to see if we would get a rejection notice for the I-765. I called USCIS to make sure I was sending the right one even though it said at the top that the current form expires on 8/31/08. The rep I talked to said it was the right form so I got his name and number just in case they try to pull a tricky one on me! LOL!

Just cause they sent you that NOA does not mean they won't eventually reject the form. That notice comes later on.

Its not an aproval. You will rec a separate one for every other form filed

Its not an aproval. You will rec a separate one for every other form filed. You can't go according to the date on the top of the form though. You have to go according to the revised date at the bottom. My I 765 form said exp 08/31/08 and it was rejected because of the revised date which was 04/08/08. Anyway an updated version was sent to me with the rejection notice, so i completed it and all is going on really good.

If I downloaded the form from the USCIS website and the exp date is 8/31/08 nd the rev date is 5/2708, will this be fine?

Exactly! I used the form that the USCIS link sent me to. The bottom of the form says: Form I-765 (Rev. 05/27/08) N....So hopefully, we will be ok. I will let you know if I get a rejection notice.

The one with the revision date of 05/27/08 is the right form.
