Those are all K3's Jackie...assigned by the consulate.

We are still waiting to hear about the CR1/IR1 interview scheduling. I called tonight to check on it and they are still doing the scheduling for October.....I was told to call again next Friday....when they expect all slots to be full. Don't forget AMM also processes for Iraq as well and those slots fill up quickly.

Yessssss.....I was hoping for a CR1/IR1 interview in October but just called NVC and they said "not yet".....

I love the way their message tells me..."your case was completed on June 26th, if it has been more than 8 weeks since this date and you haven't heard anything, please press zero for an operator"...because they don't do anything but give you the same old reply  (the operator)..we are still waiting for appointment dates from Amman and we are still scheduling, try to call back again next week.

Good thing this week I did not call them twice a day like I did last month  . I am used to this whole long drawn out routine...thank God I filed for the K3 and I am praying that I can change my K3 interview to an CR1/IR1 when the time comes. At the end of next week when scheduling is complete I will start sending emails to the Amman consulate and the NVC asking them to change the Nov 3rd type to regular immigrant visa interview and forward my paperwork to Amman immediately.

It looks like (at least at this point), that Nov 3rd will be the magical interview date for us.

I know there are many of you out there that are saying...whats the problem, thats right around the corner!?? Well, the problem is that I have not seen my husband for almost 7 months and my case has been complete at NVC since June 26, way before I received an NOA2 for my K3 and my K3 is scheduled but not my CR1/IR1 interview. Just goes to show you that rushing through NVC doesn't always help or make any difference...You rush through and get all excited...just to sit and wait. This is not always the case...but definitely is with Amman. It is one of the longest to wait for...so if you are going through Amman-GET READY TO WAIT!

Anyway...thanks for listening to me complain....it helps to just get it out. Now its time to get happy (which I am very much so-don't get me wrong) about our Nov 3rd interview.....It is, after all, right around the corner. And really I think I need about 6-8 weeks to go through all of my clothes drawers and closets to make room for my husband's things.

For those of you that still have a "ways" to go...good luck.....I hope your case goes fast!!

Deb, hang in there. There are many ups and downs in this process. One good up makes me forget about all the downs. Stay positive and hopeful!

The CR1's I don't have any estimate on. I thought they were running that 2-3 months. I wonder who is getting CR1 interview in Amman cause no one on VJ has gotten one...since what, June. That is crazy.

jJ, it doesn't look good doll.....sorry to drop that terrible news on you. I didn't see that coming either. ISA your K3 will be there for ya! Chin up and stay strong!

I am ready ! I am so excited I could pee my pants!

I got no touch..no email from USCIS...I go to the mailbox at lunchbreak and guess what is in there!!! A shiny letter from USCIS saying K3 was approved on Sept 8th! heheheh

Whats next? It stops briefly at NVC, waves to the CR1, then goes to Amman. Then what? When do we learn of a date???????? THats the part I am excited about!

Call the NVC and see if they gave you a AMM case number for the 129. Then find out when it was forwarded to Amman. I might go to NVC today! Check with them Monday afternoon as well. The we can track the DHL to Amman...then you email AMM to ask if they have assigned interview date.

Glad your are happy! ISA you and Ibrahim will always be this happy together! Alhamdulilah sista!

Yes, I started emailing them before I even travelled there, just to ask questions. They always replied within a couple days and with real answers, not auto generated ones. heh I found them really helpful

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I would have been done with NVC back in April if my husband had just let me finish the paperwork. I paid for everything, but we never sent the visa app or the AOS. Now just waiting on this refugee in Amman instead.

I hope everyone gets their appointments soon. It seems like they are taking awhile to schedule appointments!
