CR 1 Interview Question for Casa

For those of you who have already gone through your cr1 visa interview in Casa, did u have to get a new police record, court record,and birth certificate for the day of the interview? Did you also have these new documents translated again for the day of the interview? The letter from the NVC says form not needed for these but I thought I had read somewhere you had to have new ones.Thanks for the help

I think it depends on how long ago you gave them the last one. My husband had to get a new one due to his first having been almost 2 years old. He took new and old papers on anything we could think of, just in case. Better to have too much than not enough.

You can never be too prepared. My advice is always make copies of everything you send in. Chances are you will need it again. Also it's nice to have a visual record of the things you've sent in.
