that's just outrageous! so of course, i'm the bad guy now cuz i said HECK NO! even if it was half the price, i just don't like the idea of "my child" being in a different country without me! i was nervous when they had a trip to chicago, if he went to italy i think i'd be awake the whole entire week.

Please remember my family in your prayers and thoughts for hurricane Ike. Most all my family are in Houston and Baton Rouge La. My grandparents are living in Houston, My mom and step father are in Houston and my mom takes care of my great grandmother. They are all going to stay in Houston at home during the hurricane, except for my step dad bcz hes a Police Officer... hes gotta work. My brothers and their families all in Baton Rouge went through the other hurricane and dont have much of anything there and hoping they dont get hit again with this big one coming! Im praying for all the ones that are going to go through this. Its sad bcz its like you know something big is going to happen and people will suffer and die, and there is nothing to do to help them. :cry:On Sept 11th 2001 I was 19yrs old working at walmart. I was on the door greeting customers for about 2 hours. I remember the first man that came in, he was frantic and asking me where the gun dept was at. I told him where, then he said we just had 2 airplanes hit the World Trade Centers. Then more men came in very frantic and I realized this was serious. All of a sudden all the tvs in walmart were tuned into the news and what was going on. Alot of associates had family and friends working in New York and couldnt get ahold of them bcz of phones werent working. We really couldnt grasp what was going on until the 3 and 4th planes were down. Everyone was scared and was talking about what if Atlanta got hit. People were crying and had a devastating look on their faces. Very shortly I was back on my register ringing up customers and fighting back tears. I remember this older gentleman I was ringing up that had a Veterans hat on, he saw tears coming down my face and said... "Dont worry honey, We are going to handle this and get thru this together."

When I got home and my family and I watched tv, I saw the most horrific thing on the news. People jumping out of the windows from way up high to escape the fire and then hitting the ground. I never want to see that again. Shortyly after that horrific news broadcast they had to stop filming it bcz of how terrible it was. I still remember it all.

It was a sad time, each day hoping more people would come out of the rubble alive. Each day knowing more people died. I will never forget that. I felt like I should have been working through the dust and rubble to find someone. I really wish that day never happened. I will never understand the hatred of so many people in this world towards others that they would glory in the death of Gods creation. I have always believed in loving and praying for even your enemies and bless them that curse you. It was very hard that day to pray for even the ones that hate us.

Now 7 years later, still at walmart and still visiting with associates and customers... We will never forget! -Tam

Julianna...good you be losing due to fasting?? I know I feel at least 5lbs lighter and my clothes getting more loose so I am just looking at this fasting also as a way to get healthier and feel better.

Sandrilla, I've been working out since July, so it's not from fasting. I'm upset that it's only 5lbs so far.. but I am hoping that soon (because I am getting a lot stronger core) the weight will come off.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.
