hi there im just wondering can u connect you laptop wifi to your cellphone using bluetooth or infrared to get an access using globe sim card? how does it work and how much do they charge? thanks alot

im not quite sure if this is possible (connecting laptop to mobile phone). i used my phone all the time for YM and surfing net when i leave my laptop home or at our office. i recently got this mobile internet connection through smartbro for 3,000++ and it was great. i use it when mobile (traveling locally) no connection problems..the only con is that it's prepaid..

If your mobile phone is 3G you can surf the net either by using your mobile phone or connecting it to your pc or laptop. Before, when I don't have internet connection at home yet, I use my mobile phone (smart 3G) to connect to my pc and it works. It charges Php 10.00 per 30 minutes or less. Since, I use internet a lot, I decided to apply for the connection at home. I remember, I tried to connect my mobile phone to the laptop my husband gave me but no success. Maybe it doesn't work only to mac but not to windows. I inquire about it to Nokia but they said, it's only compatible to windows OS.

So I think this same thing with Globe network it only depends on what model is your mobile phone (need to be 3G capable).

Just want to share, globe has a FREE TRIAL now for unlimited YAHOO chat until October 4... In this way you don't need to hook up your phone to your laptop...

This is not basically the answer to your question but I'm just sharing hehehehe

i love to do seach a lot watch movie i do it all in the net. to bad im going for out of town for 3 days and i dont think i can leave without an internet. YES i admitted im a computer maniac lol

Are you talking about tethering your laptop to the phone?

I have done that many times, but only in US. It can be done, in theory.
