First off, I want to thank everybody who has answered my previous questions so quickly. I called my bank yesterday and they are sending me the letter that is needed sometime next week. I am planning to go to the bank today so I can get my form notarized.

I keep some of my money in the bank account that I obtained the letter from, but keep a majority of my money in a savings account at one of the large brokerages. Question number 7 on the I-134 form wants to know how much money I have on deposit in savings banks in the United States. The actual amount that I have in savings is different than the amount that will be on the letter from my regular bank. Is this okay or do I need to get a letter from the brokerage account indicating how much money I have on deposit there?

Thanks so much.

If you want you can add a supplimental page with an explanation, but if you are above the pverty line based on your income then you don't have to include any more than what is asked for.

So, if your wages are over the 125%, you don't have to put your savings. If you do want to, that's fine too. I would include a little supplemental paragraph on an accompanying page that explains to your satisfaction.

I am sure there are many who have savings that are not noted in their regular accounts.

Good Luck

If I were you I would get a letter from the brokerage account as well. Either that or list the amount from your savings with the bank ONLY on the I-134. Basically, if you put it on the I-134 you should have the documentation to back up that figure. ;)
