Hello everyone,

I have just returned from the states visiting my boyfriend and we got engaged......YAY! I won't allow myself to get too excited though, we are about to begin the K1 visa application and it seems so daunting and difficult :huh:

But before all that, can anyone help me please??? I returned from the states a week ago, I'm in the UK and travelled under the visa waiver program, and I was alarmed to read somewhere that the green receipt they staple into your passport must be collected by the airline upon departure otherwise you can be in serious trouble! When I got to Heathrow I asked the guy who checked my passport if he needed it and he cut me a filthy look and said "no", so it's still there in my passport!

I don't know what to do and I wasn't sure which section to post it in, so apologies for putting it here.

Please help! I am eternally grateful for any advice!

English Muffin..................Thank-you, thank-you, THANK-YOU!!! I am really grateful. Was just sitting here looking for info about it and er......blubbing over the keyboard :crying::blush: And I'm only just beginning the K1, God knows what state I'll be in soon :lol:
