There's no need. You already have your interview date and the consulate extends the date of NOA2 as I've read many a times on this forum. The best of luck!!:)

There is every need. You will need a notarized letter of intent! Likewise my interview was after the NOA2 expiry date. I was denied the visa on the day of the interview, because my letter of intent was not notarized. The IO was nice, he told this was because it was after the expiry date. I just needed to send them in a notarized letter of intent for them to issue me with a visa.

Get your letter of intent notarized and you will be fine. If you don't you will be denied, until you provide one.

Good luck!

You need the letter but it does NOT have to be notarized. The only thing that needs ot be notarized is the I-134.

Yes it does. When the NOA2 has expired, you need to notarize the letter! I was denied because mine was not notarized. IO told me it MUST be notarized when the NOA2 has expired.

Thanks Nicky! do u think they might accept a scanned copy of the ltter of intent? as its a bit late to receive it before monday

I asked the IO this, when he told me I would need my letter notarized (you don't need to have it notarized if your interview is within the four months set on your NOA2, which I believe is what the others are referring to). He told me my fiancee would need to send me the original. But you could give it a go? You wont have anything to lose. Worst thing that can happen is your visa will be delayed til you send in the original.

Good luck!
