This may be my top vote for the most useless thread on here.

 It had potential but fizzled so quickly...

It never started cause the intent was unclear. Maybe she will come back and set us straight so we can have a nice conversation.

You people are right it was very unclear and I useless without point. I am talking about teachesrs in the U.s as well as Jamaica. Do people think teachers get paid enough or do they need to get paid more. Has the US and Jamaica lost respct for their teachers?

No, I do not think that teacher get paid enough. I have many school teachers in my family in Jamaica and many of them go fed up with the system and Jamaica and took job here in the states. Most of them returned to Jamaica after of year of teaching. I loved my teachers when I was in school. I was always the "teacher's pet" as they call it. I respected them all the time as should everyone else.

They definately do not get paid enough. Nor, is there as much respect for them as there used to be. Discipline problems (beginning at home) cause many to be glorified babysitters now and/or fear for their very safety. I find it very unfair that some schools receive more $$$ then others and, thus, the better of everything.

This all holds true for both the US and JA.

In my city, I find that they waste money on totally useless things and then take away things that are truly needed cause they cannot then afford it.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I went to school jamaica as well as n the us. Iloved my teachers in each country. I think in Jamaica teachers now make 40,000 dollars in. i believe in a week. In the US they make up to 60,000 a year depending on where they are teaching. I know my teachers bought supplies all the time when I went to school. So in the US the teachers my go home with up to 57,000 dollars.
