Anyone flew into O'Hare on CR1/IR1 recently?

I will be flying into Chicago O'hare airport, anyone did that recently?

Can you share with me how long did it take you to clear the immigration and custom ?

We are trying to figure out an estimated time for my husband to pick me up at the airport. :-)

Well, I did fly in Chicago Airport/O`Hare before 8 years ago , I had no problems at all...at that time( long time ago...)...

Can you share with me? How long it took to go through the immigration process, custom & baggage claim to finally walk out to the arrival hall? I thought I read somewhere that it would take 2-3 hours after the plane landed, is it true?

time of day, concurrent flight and where did you get sit on the aircraft dependent.... first thing in the morning you will breeze through... mid afternoon it will be a wait..

The last time that I flew through Chicago, It takes me one hour and a Half. ( It was the last year and in the afternoon)

It depends on the International arrivals!!

It is not the best time to arrive at ORD but it is not the worst according to the CBP

My husband came on Sep 3rd on Cr-1.. As he went to the immigration line, the POE officer asked him to get the luggage first and then asked to sumbit his Sealed envelope and stand in a line.. There were atleast 10 people in front of him.. when his turn came, they asked us him to sign at two different places, took fingerprints and gave the passport back.. That's all.. I would say 1 hour from the flight landed to the time he came out from the arrival passengers exit.. Good Luck..

With all the help you have given me it will take you no more the a couple hours at most. I travel all the time and it is not different even when you ome to the U.S, to live.

My wife came in on a CR-1 on July 26 this year. The plane landed at 2:10 p.m. and she did not get out untill 4:30 p.m.

You never know with O'Hare - even if you're just traveling domestically, you can expect to have your luggage about 30-40 mins after landing sometimes! And that's not even going through Immigration and Customs.....

There's always the Cell Phone Lot, though.

you are talking about world's second busiest airport. i wud plan atleast a 2 hour exit.

I am going to ask my husband to arrive there before 4.00 p.m. If it takes longer, he waits, if it's faster, I wait. :-)
