Report: Obama mentored by Communist Party figure

Investigations show ties to radicals who shaped him, helped launch his political career

By Jerome R. Corsi From the man who brought you Swift Boat Veterans for Truth . . .

Barack Obama had extensive ties with extreme anti-American elements, including agents of the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA, in Hawaii and Chicago, according to two new reports released yesterday in Washington, D.C., by two experienced internal security investigators.

Investigative journalist Cliff Kincaid and Herbert Romerstein, a former investigator with the U.S. House Committee on Un-American Activities, presented evidence Obama was mentored, while attending high school in Hawaii, by Frank Marshall Davis, an African-American poet and journalist who was also a CPUSA member.

and the people who brought you McCarthism.

This is low even for you, Gary

From the people who brought you McCarthism.

Senator McCarthy was a true patriot trying to weed out the evil dissent and logic of damn liberals standing in our way of God's will. My money and pledge of allegiance now has the full backing of God, which means any evil liberal that touches it now gets sent straight to hell for summary judgment. So hath claimed the great disciple Pat Robertson.

Troll troll troll your boat, gently up ur #######..

You have the nerve to say that when there are dozens of Palin hit stories on this board?

And you can check my posts, not one has quoted anything but a mainstream source.

Reading this you might think that McCarthyism was making a comeback....

As to the title charge - I wonder what relevance associations at the high school level really have.

You mean when children are forming their values and world views?

Corrected that for you.

Indeed, Senator McCarthy would be proud of Gary.

More yellow journalism from World Nut Daily, Gary?

Do you dispute the facts? I can give you this same story from other sources. The "Frank" from his book is Frank Marshall Davis.

I guess you would rather worry about an encounter with Palin and a librarian. Much more important.

For one...it's another hit piece of more of the same, guilt by association, of Barack Obama. World Nut Daily is obsessed with trying to paint Obama as a closet Muslim. This is nothing but smearing. But do continue...it shows your desperation.

Just like all the stories about Palin's religion, children, encounters with librarians ect??? Your desperation is showing. This was a test to see if you would realize your own hypocracy. I see you can't.

To be honest Gary - while there is plenty of partisan fanaticism to go around, this sort of thing doesn't exactly do you any favors either.

If you honestly think that Obama was coached to be a communist at an early age - I really don't know what to say to you...

These arguments get more desperate and more delusional the closer we get to the election

I guess no one sees the same thing I do. Someone posts an anti-Palin story and there are 10 pages of "oh yeah! How terrible is that?". I post an anti-Obama story and all I get is "you troll, your sources stink!". The double standard here is what stinks.

Just stop the hatred and smearing of Obama and his supporters. Can you agree to stop referring to them as 'kool-aid drinkers?' Come on, this isn't doing anybody any good. Let's get back to discussing the actual issues, while showing respect for opposing viewpoints.

Yeah I know. He only wants a truce when it suits him.

Hey now...don't let Dev pull you into her web of deception. My criticism was aimed at WND ....a Right wing website that has a reputation for yellow journalism...and as I recall, you lambasted me for daring to post anything from any Left wing websites. I don't have a problem with quoting from politically bent websites as long as they have a good record of being factual...unless of course you want to post something that's an opinion - that's fine with me as well.

....

here's a nugget from WND: (whoooo...that's some real down home style journalism right there)

It's official: Terrorists

endorse Hillary in '08

On the record, Mideast jihadi leaders

say she's best hope for victory in Iraq

Joseph Francis Farah is an Evangelical Christian American journalist of Lebanese and Syrian heritage[1]. He is the founder of WorldNetDaily (WND), for which he writes a daily commentary.

In addition to directing the news-gathering operation at WorldNetDaily, he is also a nationally syndicated radio talk-show host and nationally syndicated columnist. His radio service contains a variety of shows focusing on current affairs as well as topics on conservatism, liberalism and Christianity. However, on December 20, 2005 Farah announced he was "calling it quits on his national radio show next year" with the last day on January 13 2006. Farah said this was to spend more time with the WND website & his family. He is also the founder of ShopNetDaily where books on Christianity, politics and other world issues are sold.

He is considered a trailblazer as an architect of the "anti-liberal establishment" news outlets, which include talk radio, conversative publications, and on-line sources.

Farah stated "We are not conservative. We are the largest independent news site on the Net".

In his work he proclaims, "The choice is simple: The world of standards and morality, of marriage, order, the rule of law, and accountability to God? Or the world of anything-goes, aberrant sexual behavior, doing-your-own-thing lifestyles, and moral codes that change with the speed of the latest public-opinion poll? Also tied to WND is Farah's "G2 Bulletin", an online "intelligence newsletter" which focuses on world events viewed through a conservative perspective. Farah is also known for his strong support for Israel and is possibly one of the most notable and outspoken pro-Israeli Arab writers. He has criticized the Israeli government for negotiating too much with the Palestinians and abandoning lands which he believes were given to the Jewish people by God.

Farah has received criticism for replicating wire service reports in his articles without proper attribution.

On September 20, 2000, WND published an article claiming that Clark Jones, a Tennessee car dealer and fund-raiser for then-Vice President Al Gore, had interfered with a criminal investigation, had been a "subject" of a criminal investigation, was listed on law enforcement computers as a "dope dealer," and implied that he had ties to others involved in alleged criminal activity. In 2001, Jones filed a lawsuit against WND; the reporters, Charles C. Thompson II and Tony Hays; the Center for Public Integrity, which had underwritten Thompson and Hays' reporting on the article and related ones; and various Tennessee publications and broadcasters who he accused of repeating the claim, claiming libel and defamation. The lawsuit had been scheduled to go to trial in March 2008, but on February 13, 2008, WND announced that a confidential out-of-court settlement had been reached with Jones.A settlement statement jointly drafted by all parties in the lawsuit states in part:

"Discovery has revealed to WorldNetDaily.com that no witness verifies the truth of what the witnesses are reported by authors to have stated. Additionally, no document has been discovered that provides any verification that the statements written were true.

"Factual discovery in the litigation and response from Freedom of Information Act requests to law enforcement agencies confirm Clark Jones' assertion that his name has never been on law enforcement computers, that he has not been the subject of any criminal investigation nor has he interfered with any investigation as stated in the articles. Discovery has also revealed that the sources named in the publications have stated under oath that statements attributed to them in the articles were either not made by them, were misquoted by the authors, were misconstrued, or the statements were taken out of context."

Anti-Global Warming Contest

In 2008 WND Books -- formerly known as World Ahead Publishing -- sponsored what was dubbed "'The Sky's Not Falling" video/essay contest'", named after the book by Holly Fretwell, The Sky's Not Falling: Why It's OK to Chill About Global Warming. "The two grand prize winners in both categories will receive $200. Second place winners will receive $100, and third place winners will receive $50. Plus, all 6 winners will receive copies of "The Sky's Not Falling: Why It's OK to Chill About Global Warming" to donate to their child's classroom and school library, and a copy of the hard-to-get DVD "The Great Global Warming Swindle," World Ahead stated on their website. WorldNetDaily stated that the DVD prize was being sponsored by junkscience.com, the website run by Steven J. Milloy.

WND only reposted the story. It's all over the internet. It looks like a web site named AIM first broke it.

No, no, no, Gary. You posted a poorly written, poorly sourced hit piece written by a notorious lying sack of #### and quoting as source material a group of people who've been left on the dustbin of history. Then once you realize your mistake, you try to play the victim.

Believe me. We get it.
