flight question

Hi~

We all know that buying a return ticket is a lot cheaper than a one-way but now my fiance has heard if you don't use the second half of the ticket sometimes the airlines blacklist you. Has anyone heard that or had any experience with that? I don't see how it would be a big deal but it seems the airlines make all kinds of crazy rules these days.

Never hear that ... Think about it - they likely sold that seat you weren't on and got paid twice...

If you cancel the return flight, you usually have 1 year from the date of cancellation to use the ticket, I cancelled my return ticket and extended my stay a couple of times and have still been able to use the ticket.

talk to the airline, once you reach your destination the return flight must be cancelled prior to schedueled departure, there is usually a small booking fee to use the ticket again.

spot on - spoke with the airlines and you have one year to use the return portion if you chose - with a small fee to change the date - otherwise your fine!

lmao well i dont have any pending right now but i have cancelled at least 7 return flights, 5 in just 1 trip, couldnt decide when i wanted to return .

Well Philly were mean to me but he let me in this last time said i should stay in my own coutry more often. lol

I have had some nightmare flights tho, funny now but not so much then, lost luggage hmmm think 3 times maybe 4.
