Hey guys,

like some of you know and helped me out with this before, I am going to the US for business at the beginning of December for about 2 weeks. My company will be paying for my trip and my expenses. I am travelling under the VWP. I will have 2 weeks of work for the company (until dec 20) and then I plan to stay until the 27 ( since the company doesnt really care when my return trip is as long as it is not too far away) and spend Christmas with Kenny. So, on the VWP , the main purpose of my trip is still "Business", but clearly when asked I wont lie to them if they ask me if I am doing anything afterwards. I will say that since I am in the US for business I planned on staying one week longer and spend Crhistmas with my fiancee.

Is it correct and proper to write Business on the VWP form? or should I write both? I want to do everything right and not take any chance even if that means being paranoid!!

I would just write business. If asked, I'd say I'm staying an extra week for Christmas. Bring evidence of ties to home like job and lease, just in case.

I am bringing proofs of ties to home as well as papers stating that I am there to attend a business course and the NOA1 receipt from the K1, as well as my return ticket and everything but still I get concerned reading so much stuff about people getting expedite removal or banned entry that I do not understand the overall reasons for doing that. Does anyone have any more details on the reasons for one or the other option?

The last time I went to the US was in June for 5 days. I never had any problems, but I always worry since I read so many stories on this forum that I dont know what to think!
