have you guys updated your cases at NVC?

we just did and right now i can't sleep. lol..i guess you already know why i'm really happy right now..

the NVC has scheduled appointments for october, and thank god i qualified..thought i should tell you guys so you can hear your good news too!

it feels great to be few days closer to seeing my SO again..hopefully all goes well until i finish this journey..

I will be calling them until Friday but I will speak to a Rep on Friday. Did you call them?

I called them yesterday im gonna wait till friday to call back but i will call the automated system till then

I called NVC yesterday. They said, my case is completed now they are going to send it to the embassy.

They told me, they will put my case on for October list.

So, do i need to call them back again?

I'm in the same boat. In fact the rep today told me I should only call back on the 18th of this month!?! Yeah right. I will be calling every day as well. Wishing you all the best.

my AVR says the same thing,

"case was completed on august 15, 2008. please allow 6-8weeks blah, blah, blah..."

so i opted to talk to an operator, and when i did, she told me they have already scheduled me for an interview.

i guess you guys should talk to one coz relying on the AVR might not be useful since its not updated timely. just a piece of advice..

i did talk with a rep...but I think I'll rely just on the evening reps because as most of us have figured out, they appear to be easier to work with. They said to call back on the 18th, which would be the end of the 3rd week of the month! No way!

Should I keep calling them everyday to find out the interview date?

Happyinlove, you probably will have the interview date set for early Oct, looking at others who were completed mid Aug.

I wonder why they wait almost 1 month to schedule, and then schedule 15-20 days ahead of the date, kind of close call.

On the other had, last month I did see a lot of interviews scheduled 3rd week, even end of Aug some. And Roca was scheduled early Sept.

So I am not really sure anymore. Operators told me too that they schedule on 2nd week, but does it mean they do not do it other times really?
