validity of noa2

hi everybody ,

It took us 93 to get our NVC new case number and just via phone, no hard copy yet from NVC. the validity of the NOA2 is 4 months ,we got it on 5th June, so it'll expire in few days right ? does the NVC take that into consideration before issuing a case number ? or i'll have problems again because of their delays. Hope to hear your advices. Thanks much.

The consulate has the right to extend the petition, so I would highly doubt that the NVC would stop processing.

I haven't done this process now for several years, but I have to admit that I am curious as to why the NVC has had the case for 4 months for a K-1. Shouldn't it have been forwarded to the consulate by now? Have you talked to them about it?

thanks for ur answer , well it is not the nvc that is responsible for all this delay, it was the CSC because our package was never sent to NVC after the NOA2. but with the help of the congress representative we could make it move and finaly reach the NVC which gave us a new case number. thanks for your explanation and best luck to you too:).greetings.

that is interesting it took ours almost 2 weeks to get from csc to nvc and our k3 went right to the embassy.... and i thought that was a long time!! Take care I would probably email the consulate with all your information ie beneificary name and dob case number your name and dob and just ask them that very question. Perhaps you can still make it for an oct interview???
