Do you have an interview appointment or not?

When in doubt the EMBASSY is where you need to get your questions answered because they actaully are the ones with the power to do something if something can actaully be done.

YMMV

I had to read this three times, You had the envelope since March but didn't open it till September.....are you sure you want to marry this person? Your paperwork was processed rather quickly when you see other timelines. We just had our paperwork sent out September 2, and have the rest of the paperwork pretty well ready to go as we can't wait to start our life together. I would think you would have to contact the consulate who is handling the interview and maybe they can do something for you. Hopefully you get someone with a sympathetic eye. However, I think you might have missed the window of opportunity. Had you opened it when you got it, and realized that you needed more time you could have probably made arrangements to do so, but you can't change that now. Sorry, its not my intention to sound mean. I wish you and your honey all the luck.

Take care.

You need to call the US Embassy ASAP to find out where your case is at. They may still have it and may still give you an appointment but you won't know until you call them. If they sent the case back then ask them what is the next step to take. Hopefully, not to apply all over again.

Call them now!!!
