No thanks - I value my arteries.

I don't bother with fast food much at all these days. Though I did have an interesting experience at a Wendy's drive through where I had to explain to the staff what dressing came with the salad I'd ordered.

Where do you eat at connoisseur??

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Just as I suspected...he is not the big overweight man people might picture. He's thin.

"If McDonald's food is so nasty, how do you explain Don Gorske (the Big Mac fanatic who eats over 700 of the double-deckers in one year)?

What you have to realize about Don Gorske is that Don Gorske doesn't eat anything but Big Macs ... 90 percent of his solid food diet comes from Big Macs. He has two big Macs every day. ... In a day, he's probably not even taking in 1,600 calories, and he's a prison guard, so he's burning calories, dealing with a lot of stressful situations."

The above is from an article about Supersize Me...and how the guy who eats them twice a day isn't a fatty. I am not sure how his arteries look though. But it may be the same as anyone who eats red meat often.

I am not saying that McD's ever had the best burgers but they used to taste a whole lot better then they do now....

Depends on the store. For me personally, money is not an issue but I enjoy a tasty Big Mac every now and then. I have found key stores where they actually give a #### and make some good burgers.

If I want tasty fast food I usually go to Chipotle or Chick-Fil-A.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. - A 54-year-old man says his obsessive-compulsive disorder drove him to eat 23,000 Big Macs in 36 years.

Fifty-four-year-old Don Gorske says he hit the milestone last month, continuing a pleasurable obsession that began May 17, 1972 when he got his first car.

Gorske has kept every burger receipt in a box. He says he was always fascinated with numbers, and watching McDonald's track its number of customers motivated him to track his own consumption.

The only day he skipped a Big Mac was the day his mother died, to respect her request.

The correctional-institution employee says he doesn't care when people call his Big Mac obsession crazy. He says he's in love with the burgers, which are the highlights of his days.

I hope he has a good cardiologist.

I think the day he started eating these, he decided to stay in the style of the day.

Anyway if you really think about it, his arteries probably aren't much worse than any meat eaters. I heard once that a lot of burgers at McD's have soy as filler, so even less cholesterol! (don't know if that's true about the soy haha)

Um, I am asking where you prefer to eat considering you hate fast food. Much in the same way I asked where you get your news from since you hate the mass media.

The thing I find weird is that he can eat the same thing every day for so long...ever get sick of the same taste? Does he still really love them? Is it just for the record book now? This topic is far more interesting than the political ones.

Sure... with that connoisseur jibe - totally innocent and well-intentioned I'm sure.

Silly boy - just everyone a favor and belt up. Stop trying to make something out of nothing. You only make yourself look foolish.

I'd say there's some obsessive-compulsive issues at work there... I'll have to dig out the title - but there a behavioural science book I came across at work that went over that sort of thing - herding mentality is I think what they call it. People get stuck into routines and go to the same places over and over - doesn't necessarily have anything to do with liking the food, just the habit of going.
