Sarah Palin is perhaps the ultimate feminist. A successful accomplished woman that can be intelligent, tough, strong and beautiful. If "feminism" were, indeed concerned with the advancement of WOMEN and not of alternative political agendas on the backs of women, then Sarah Plain would be a "poster woman" for feminism. Someone like Hillary Clinton, who would be an unknown if she hadn't married her famous (man) husband, is prmoting exactly what for women? She hasn't introduced any bills in the Senate and LOST her chance to be nominated by being too much of everything. But I suppose "feminists" consider HER a "feminist" How wonderful! Follow the loser!

For the first time in my life I am seeing the Presidential candidate of one party addressing the POLICIES of the VICE Presidential candidate of the other party. Do you not see that? And it took a woman to cause it to happen! The Yahoo headline RIGHT NOW says "Obama takes on Palin's policies" and "Obama gets tough on Sarah Palin" WHAT!!!!??? THAT is power. THAT is feminism. I almost expect Obama to offer to debate Palin! If your idea of feminism is to use it to promote some strange liberal agenda, then Palin is not your gal, that is for sure. If your agenda as a femimist is to promote the abilities and opportunities for women, if it is to open all the doors to make all jobs equally accessible to women, the Sarah Palin should be your idol.

Regardless of her political opinions (which have nothing at all to do with the subject of opportunity for women) you have to admire the accomplishments of this woman! She is a mom, a wife, a politician, she is powerful and influenctial in ways no woman has ever been. Sarah Palin, as a woman, is the ultimate feminist. Personally I do not agree with all her ideas...so what? If I ever agree with all the ideas of ANY political candidate I would need my head examined, but to hurl rocks in her direction is to deny her accomplishments and that is simply wrong.
