I am not on vacation until next Friday and that is when I go to China. Our interview is scheduled for 5/21 three weeks from now and I will find out the verdict. Happy now that it is here. However nervous with all the bad news lately. I have not seen no one we went through all this with for sometime now.

No new news. I am talking to a lawyer recomended on CFL named Marc Ellis. Both lawyers seem optimistic that I will be able to keep the case in China and not have to appeal in the US. I might have to take a trip to China within the next 30 days to submit the overcome evidence in person. Considering it could take 2 years to appeal this in the US I am hoping to get this resolved while it is still in China. I also called DOS and they told me that as long as the application is still in China any additional evidence submitted must be considered no matter the current status of the case. So it appears that a denied notice doesn't go into affect until the file is mailed to the US. As far as DOS is concerned she has been given a blue slip until they receive the file back. Hopefully I will still be able to bring her to the US soon.

Yes if you go to a medical center that does the vaccinations as well. Feng went to the Health Care Center of Guangdong International Travel and they did both.

I sure will let everyone know. I am becoming very excited and also very nervous. the wife will need to stay in China after the interview because my stepsons case is still in customs. I have sent them e-mail, fax and called to try and get hois case moved up to the wife's interview without a response so far.

Hi All,

I have been away, i was on vacation because my husband arrived on April 22nd, woohoo.

I came back to work on Wednesday and i have been playing catch-up since then. JB, i am so sorry but it looks like you are already on the ball. Try to keep it in China cause if it leaves, it will be hard to appeal. I hope it works out. This is very surprising. I think that they were just looking to deny someone. It's frustrating that they hold our lives in their hands and they choose to play with it foolishly.

Philip, good luck on yoru wife's upcoming interview. Please keep us posted. :star:
