No update yet just that my wife decided to make 2 trips to Guangzhou to save on the hotel. She is planning on going on the 20th and having her medical on the 21st. She is going to pay extra to get her results in 1 day then go back to Nanning until the 26th. She will then go back to Guangzhou for the interview.

Good luck Philip2, JB and Sasha...

I'm just sitting here counting the days and frantically getting everything I need to do, 'done' so I can enjoy my time with Govi in Nepal and then be able to help him adjust to the US and our crazy lifestyle... I think he will miss his family and Nepal so much.... I miss his family and Nepal so much...

Well I'll keep checking back on you guys' progress.

Yesterday was Nepali New Year 2066 so Happy New Year everybody!! :D

My wifes interview is set for My 21st at 7:15 in the morning. However, she will not be able to come back with me to the U.S. again. That is because she will have to stay in China for my stepsons interview in a few weeks. :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Well, I plan to be here to still talk and chat as I move forward. I don't believe in leaving anyone behind. We are a support group for each other to get through this whole mess. I know many have left and moved on with there new lives already. It seems we have an all new group on here now. However maybe we help them also while we are still around. Hang in there God will see us through this whole thing.

That is great news!!!

Do they tell you at the medical if you pass? You are almost done with the whole process. I have a little ways to go yet. My wifes interview is on May 21st. However, my stepsons paperwork is still in Chinese customs. So once my wife passes the interview she will have to stay in China a little longer until my stepson gets done with the interview. Then they both can finally come home. Are you going to the interview with your wife?

I will be leasving to attend the interview with my wife on May 9th and we plan to get to Guangzhou around the 13th for the interview and medical. What about the vaccinatiions? Do they give the vaccinations during the medical?

You will have to keep us all posted.

They are too busy right now to give you results on the same day. After you go to the exam they call you if there are any problems and tell you the results when you go pick them up so you know if you have passed. The vaccinations depend on which medical center you go to. If you go to one that does both then you can get them all the same day and if you need a series then you can usually finish when you get to US. Good luck to you both and to all of us.

Thanks for the information and we are all praying for each memebr that gets the visa. For us that are doing China have a very long journey and I think when we have done what we have done. They should honr each of us knowing that thereason we have made it this far is because we really love our wifes.
