I hope you had better luck with NVC than I have - I called Friday morning and still no interview date but the rep said they will continue scheduling into next week... so there is a glimmer of hope for March but I am afraid we will have an April interview - it doesn't make any difference in our time apart since I was planning on going to Nepal in late May and then we would fly back to NYC together the first week of July, but I am afraid now that our air tickets will be super-expensive - I don't want to buy them until he has passed the interview and I know he won't be put on AP so I may end up buying tickets less than a month before I leave for Nepal - usually I buy 3 months before departure and pay about $1200-1600 - who knows what they will be 1 month before departure - hope not too much more than $2K p/p.... *sigh* wish money wasn't an issue but it is... just want this visa journey to be finished

too, waitingforever...

I wonder if the power cuts in KTM are having any effect on the scheduling - I imagine the USEM has a generator but the power is out for 16 hours some days now...
