I actually want to see Chandigarh where he lived for so many years and then probably, we go to Kullu Manali anf then come back to US. I was planning to go on a trip here in USA but its too expensive. At least, in India, its a little cheaper there.

Well I am so happy. I am buying my ticket to Australia for Christmas and New Year's. It wasn't in our plans at all but we have been saving so much since we have both been at home moping and skipping the going out, partying, eating out, etc... Hopefully our airfares don't go up to much by tomorrow. I am leaving the 23rd of Dec and coming back the 14th of January. We are hoping for an early Jan interview now and maybe I can go with him in Sydney so that he is not all alone. That would be awesome. I was so depressed at the thought of not seeing him until Feb but now I am so excited. Counting the days again....

NVC finally has my husband's ds230, now the impatient waiting begins. I have already called once but ofcourse it's not in the system yet. one bussineslike guy already gave the the 2-4 week shpiel. That's fine cause i am going to be calling everyday to check on it. Geeze, praying for no rfe's. I wish i could physically take it and place it on a desk and have them review it. Geeze, i am so going to be loosing my mind until i knwo if it is accepted or if we have a green light.

Did you do city or town or did you put the whole address. My husband put city. He has not lived many different places, just two really. I am flying probably from Chicago on the 22nd or 23rd to Amirstar via probably New Dehli and hopefully staying until the Interview (I pray at the least will be in the beginning of January. We will be in Dalla which is near Bhogpur, which is approx 20 KM from Jalandhar in Punjab.

We are even going to get a Christmas tree and everything!

OK, I just paid the $400 IV fee bill online today(finally). Should I be receiving the I-864 soon?

I have been dealing with some personal medical issues so hard to deal with the visa the last couple of weeks. I have an eye condition that mede me lose my right eye when I was a baby and as I have found out makes people develop cataracts at a young age. I found out I have a cataract last year in my good eye and because my condition causes my retina to be fragile I will be at risk for retinal detachment after surgery. I have a tough decision to make whether to have cataract surgery now or later - for most people it is a routine procedure but for me it is more risky and I have one eye. I have even had doubts as to how wise it it bringing Govi here when he will be dependent on my income and God help me if I lose my remaining sight.... So please pray for me, I have an appointment to talk with a new doctor on Dec. 1 and need to make the decision - my vision is getting so bad it is hard for me to see anything clearly unless it is right in front of me and it is stressful at work since I cannot recognize faces.
