I am in another waiting game now. Interviews in China are scheduled by the embassy in Guangzhou and they don't notify the NVC as to the date. So I've got to wait to hear from them. I couldn't even get a tracking number to confirm when our file reached China. Hopefully they will review the documents quickly and assign the interview date.

I know what you mean! I hope that this is over next week. My husbands FEDEX should be at my lawyer's office on Friday. (Hopefully he will have the cover letter for the RFE by then) Even if he does not get in in DEC, I would just be happy with very early JAN, since I am going to be over there anyway for X-mas. However, I can only stay at the most 25 days - I am hoping he can fly back with me - which still can be possible if it is early JAN.

called nvc , nice operator said "your case is in the last stages of review and you can call us back next week". does this mean its the final review?

Yes, When I call NVC yesterday operator told me they have recived my DS-230 package and she told me to wait for 2-4 week, which I know by the FedEx tracking number it was deliver on 10/27 10:27 am.

We are on the exact same boat! The DS-230 and AOS package have been received by a certain Pearse on 10/27 and my husband just called today, 10/31 and informed that they have already received the package after calling for several days already. The problem is my husband sent one package for both the AOS and DS-230 but he placed them in 2 separate folders (according to him--> to save money) but i specifically told him to send them separately. But anyway, I am really hoping not to have any RFE's because of what he did (i know he did everything right just that one mistake by sending them together in one mail)...pls i need some words of encouragement. It's weekend again and I have to wait like 3 days before we have another word from NVC. Is it okay if you let me know in case your case is closed already so I can have a comparison. hehhehe. Thanks!

I just found out that my hubby's interview is on Dec 11 at 9:45am.

Is it possible to have the interview at 9:45 as i see many people have around 7:30 in the morning.

Kman, Thank you, I think they will see each other in the waiting area it is usually about 5-10 people, where she is planning to go for her medical is it going to be AMD or Surat, keep me posted about your progress or just send me IM, do you planning to submit DS-230 and all the other paper again at VFS becasue they will ask for it again at VFS let me know what you are planning to do and I will also keep you updated.

She will do the medical in Ahmedabad. I will tell my wife to only pay the courier fees to VFS and that is it. I will tell her to have the copies of birth certificate, marriange certificate, the second copy of the passport office pcc and another filled out copy of DS230, and medical report when she goes to VFS. Unless VFS argues and won't give up, then I will tell her to not give them anything but the monies.
