I have a strong urge to email embassy and ask them if they can reschedule for an earlier date once it reaches the embassy. What do you guys think?

Do you really think we have to wait for it to reach the embassy before we can call and ask them to reschedule???

I was thinking to go ahead and contact them now since it should be in their computer system that we have an interview, right?

I am worried about a something going to wrong somewhere between NVC and the Embassy. I would rather wait until its out of NVC hand. are you thinking about emailing the embassy?

Yes, I was thinking to call them first and if i cant get an answer or even get through the phone lines then i was going to email them as well. I just cant decide if we should be waiting until it gets to the embassy because we really want to call them today and ask if they can switch it. I was even thinking to call NVC just because its worth a try but i doubt they will do anything at all.

I was hoping for the interview second week of december but I guess Mumbai is all ready booked for the december and I will probebly get interview in first week of Jan what you guys think and keep us posted if you guys be able to reschedule the interview earlier but I think because they only take about 10-20 IR/CR interview everyday they might not be able to change the date but you can try to make some execuse that they will consider for the earlier interview. After seeing everybody calling NVC I did the same and today they assigned us an interview date of December 22.

Package hasn't gone out to the embassy yet. will call next week to get a confirm mailing date.

Hey guys! And GARU! Congrats on your interview date and NVC approval! I just called NVC and found out ours was approved and the interview date is for Dec 22 too! What is amazing is that I bought my ticket to Peru from Dec 20 to Jan 4 about 3 months ago! What a gift from God!

I was approved in August, but my case was sent to NVC in September. We had SO many problems: we had to change our embassy, the DS-230 package got lost (sent by express mail), etc... finally we were able to sent averything yesterday. It looks like my husband will have to come here for Xmas...

AS FOR ME, I CALLED NVC LAST NIGHT AND THEY SAID THAT THEY STILL ARE WAITING FOR THE INTERVIEW TO BE SCHEDULED IN NEW DELHI. I JUST HOPE THAT I GET THE INTERVEW DATE IN DEC.

I am getting so frustrated....I keep calling and calling trying to get an operator. I have been trying since Monday and all I get is the all operators are busy we are transferring you back to the automated system. And my case has never been in the AVR. Ugh. I am so grumpy. Congratulations on all of the interviews!!!!! YEAAAAAAA!!!!

I got my approval on the 12th of sept and we just sent our whole package to nvc yesterday I really want my interview to be done in dec is it possible? Ppl say if u send the whole package sometimes it gets accepted in a week what do u guys think abt this? I don't know why the hell my lawyer took so long to prepare the package. When shud I start calling nvc to get an interview date?

My paperwork is at the NVC (just waiting for them to put into computer) Hoping that the case will be complete in time for the interview in DEC for New Delhi. (Better yet, hoping that the paperwork can get to the embassy by NOV K3 interview.

I finally got through just now. They said that my I-864 has beeen accepted and that my DS-230 is under review and waiting for a completed. I am assuming that they are waiting from a supervisor to sign off on it. I think I may get a December interview. How lucky we would be to have my sweetie home for Christmas. How did people find their interview dates out? Call NVC. Do they give out the date then send it to the consulate?

Did you already pay your bills? I don't know that they will accept any of it unless the bills are paid with the barcoded sheet. I haven't heard of anyone sending everything together because they don't issue the IV bill until the 3230 is received. Maybe I am just confused. I

I can almost feel it. I really wish the automated system would tell me something.

Well they received my DS-230 package this last Tuesday. I called today and today they finally did something with it, as in opened it. Now we wait while it's "under review" She says 2 - 4 weeks for completion ughh I hope she is just saying that and it comes much quicker! But more than ever, I really hope there is still December interview dates left for my husband.
