Ugh, so it seems that if you were approved in the past week, you won't get an interview date until "the second week in November" for a Dec interview date - anyone else hear this?

They normally send out the cases after the interview date is set.

Yes, that is what I have always read on this forum. Interviews are schedule during the second week of the month for the following month assuming there is no backlog at the embassy. I have seen here that at certain embassies it takes longer than the next month to schedule the interview due to volume.

Another variable we have to deal with is the end of the year holidays. I know the U.S. embassy in Peru closes around the 15th of December and reopens after the first or second week of January so I'm hoping (almost sure) they can get us scheduled during the first two weeks of the December. I suspect many embassies in other parts of the World also follow this holiday schedule.

I'm hoping NVC starts scheduling interviews earlier than the second week this time to account for the holiday break. Just a hope.

I got a RFE on my Marriage certificate and PCC. They said i didnt send the right documents so now the supervisor is looking into it.
