oh no. I mailed AOS package last week and called NVC and the AVR said the documents were missing and mailed me a letter. I just send in the DS230 package yesterday too and was hoping to have AOS cleared this week before they reviewed the DS230. I will talk to an operator Monday but could this be that they missing the DS230?

Is it okay if we submitted the DS-230 first or together with the I-864? We already paid the IV bill online and we're just waiting for the status to change to "PAID" before we send out he DS-230. My husband (petitioner) is still having difficulty fixing the I-864 documents and we already have everything for the DS-230. So will this be okay to send out the DS-230 first before the I-864? Thanks!

Hello - I think you can go ahead and send in the DS-230 if you have ready since AOS and DS230 are two independent track within NVC. Just note that the address for the AOS and DS230 are slightly different. AOS is mailed ATTN : CMR AOS and DS230 to ATT: CMR.

I mailed my AOS and DS230 together as that is what the instructions said to do. I sent them together to ATT:CMR but I know some people had to send them seperate which I guess is different.

I talked to an operator today and it was a false RFE. They are waiting for DS230. So if anybody sends in AOS before DS230 and the AVR says missing documents messagge, most likely it is a false rfe.

It is so funny that my case is almost complete ans AVR still says that it has no recoed of the case.

UPDATE, My DS-230 was entered and my case at NVC is complete as of 10/17. Now it is time to wait for the interview. The NVC rep I spoke to on Friday claims that NVC is still giving out interviews for November, not sure that is true!! I will just set my mind on a December interview.

You should, they wont' be scheduling for December interviews until second week in November.

COngratulations. My husband will not get his passport back until the 29th, then one week wait for the Clearance, so we won't be sending enything off until around the 5th of next month.

Every time i think about it i jsut get so upset casue we could have been complete.

Give them about 10 days. I am sure u will find out by Oct. 27 that case completed (if no RFE).

I think I may have made a big mistake guys. On the I-864 packet I included the I-864As for other household members, however I do believe that I didn't sign each I-864A the other members did however. I'm trying right now to call them to see if they can pull the file and see if I signed it... fat chance I think. You guys think I should wait till we get a RFE if I didn't sign it or just send them the copies of the I-864A now and send them again?

Everybody please triple check your work. I'd hate to see anybody get a RFE for something that was preventable. Second pair of eyes is alway helpful.
