The lawyer sent it in with all the paperwork. I know they have it already because when they approved by I-130 they sent it to her. NVC said when I call they had my case as of the 8th and that they were aware that I had a lawyer as choic of agent also. So I was wondering when I should be getting the AOS. Then how long before the IV bill and stuff.

It is your lawyer that should be getting it. If NVC received your case on the 8th then she should have the bill by the end of the week. NVC will mail the IV bill as soon as the DS-3032 is processed. That took less than a week for it to be approved and the IV bill generated. If your DS-3032 has already been submitted then the IV bill should be generated by the end of the week.

It takes about a week for a lawyer to receive a AOS and 864 bill.

They will let you know when they it comes but i would suggest that keep calling them and find out.

I just mailed my AOS and I-864 package to NVC. Please god, no RFEs.

I checked like everything 10 times.

well guys, at the end of this process, i think ill need psychiatric treatment . this whole thing is making me an OCD, checking each and every letter on the ds230, going over the documents inch by inch and checking the mailbox every so often just to see if i got anything.

Hey GUYS!

I just got the AOS bill in the mail ! I already paid online. However, I noticed they mispelled her NAME ! I called to ask them about that and the lady said that if it was their error that they would fix it with no problem. She said she would just send the information up to a supervisor! Should I believe her and leave it at that, or should I send a copy of her passport with a letter requesting them to correct her name?? OH MY, silly how a little error they make can stress a person out!

Mine had an error in her address. They corrected it over the phone. It should be ok.
