Mrs Rowe I see your timeline says your husband needs to update his passport. Is it because it has expired or is that something they need to do before coming to the US regardless?

It may be a stupid question, but if I don't ask I won't know :)

Thanks.

Hey guys!

NVC said they got my case as of this week. They didn't tell the exact day, just that it was received the week of the 29th of September. So I updated my signature to be the 29th of September. Wow guys, I had to call exactly 10 times today, every 30 minutes or so to finally get someone on the phone at about 11:15PM.

I was approved on 9/23 and NVC automated system still didn't have record of our case...finally got a live operator tonight and he said they just received my case, gave me case # but very grumpy guy....not like he's missing Red Sox game tonight or anything!!! I asked about IIN number and he acted like he hadn't heard of it before and told me to wait 4-6 weeks for instructions in mail. The NVC operators do know what the term IIN # is right??

I finally figured out why my case did not reach the NVC. It is because USCIS has made a mistake while entering my case information. Rectifying may take upto 60 days, which is F**KING BS. I am going ahead with the I129 F which also has issues as it has reached the wrong consulate in the wrong country.

USCIS really does an amazing job in making you feel completely helpless.

My DS-3032 and AOS bill was mailed yesterday. I will be sending in my DS-3032 tomorrow.

khaleda, I called them because I wanted to make sure I didn't mess anything up. I double check, triple check everything. Because that IV Fee was online for me to pay when I paid the I-864 I was wondering if I should just pay it right now. Even though I did not know exactly what it was for. I called, and she said " No, do not pay that yet, it really can screw things up and cause processing delays. Wait until you are sent the bill to pay it".

So , I have not paid it yet. I figure it best to follow their directions as close as I can possibly understand too. The hard part is nothing is every really black and white, I read one thing on the instructions and then read another thing on their website. It's what led me here in the first place.

Things seem to be moving along quite quickly so I don't want to risk any delays.

Most of us here didn't wait for the bill to arrive, we paid when we were invoiced online. I haven't heard anything on VJ about being delayed b/c of paying too early.... Just my thought.........

Hi all,

Quick question, i paid my AOS on Oct 1st and today it still says "In Process". I really wanted to send the AOS packet today but i cant print out the barcode until it says "paid". Does anyone know if this online thing could get updated like anytime throughout the day? Or is it only updated like every 24 hours? Meaning, could i keep checking every few hours and it could change to "Paid"? Anyone notice on their cases if in the morning it still says in process and by the afternoon it says paid?

thanks,

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself as I just got approved from CSC in September too. Sadly, NVC has not yet received the case yet and therefore no INN assigned. I'm trying to be patient....when I called NVC and finally got a hold of an operator, they told me it could take up to 90 days! It doesn't appear based on timelines of others that it takes that long though.
