OKAY, ALL APPROVED IN SEPTEMBER!

Has anyone approved in early september not had their case arrive at NVC yet? I was approved 8-29 and NVC and CSC are both giving me the run around about my case- as if neither of them has it! This makes me very, very nervous!

Yes, I was approved on sept 3, but NVC has not received case yet. And I am freaking out too.

I have called both NVC and USCIS multiple times and also send the NVC a copy of my approval letter, but no response. Both organizations refuse to look into a case before 90 days and after 90 days they will search for it if it is not in the NVC system. At that point if they find out that it is lost then they I will have to refile the case.

Have you found out anything else?

Had you filed for a I129 also?

I filed the I-129 also but it hasn't been approved yet- could it be that this is keepingmy case file at CSC instead of moving it on? I might call with that question today.

Otherwise, I have found out NOTHING.... no one will look into it for 90 days and I haven't been able to get anywhere--- I'm hoping neither of our cases are lost and this gets resolved soon!

I spoke to USCIS a few times, they said that as soon as applications are approved they are sent to NVC and they have nothing to do with it after that point. You need to call USCIS as once one application is approve (130 or 129), the other one should be automatically approved. That is why most ppl get both approvals on the same day or a few days apart.

Anyway, if your I 130 reaches the NVC, I would not worry about the I129F.

My I129 F has been approved and it reached the NVC and has been forward to the (wrong) embassy. But I do not want to go that route.

You need to send them a copy of your approval notice and write a letter to them to look into your case. It took me weeks to get this information. So do it asap. However, the letter has not done any good till now.

I will keep you posted if I find out anything.

Lets hope for the best.

Well, my I-129 was approved today... a month later. So, maybe in a week or two both cases will be at NVC... I don't even know who to call, everyone has been so rude to me that I've cried everytime I've had to talk to NVC or CSC...

Also what is the cheapest and the quickest way to send an envelope to India? I am sending NOA2 and DS230 Coverletter I created using James' shortcut. Hopefully she gets the passport office PCC with this.

I am also going to send NOA2, DS230 coverletter and checklist of items needed (I attached Pdf file for referance). Packet3.pdf

Hopefully, this should be enough for Ahmedabad passport office to issue pcc.

I am going to make pdf file for NOA2 and DS230 coverletter that I will create using jame's shortcut.

All three pdf files I am going to e-mail her (send it in attachment).

She will print out there and take it to Ahmedabad passport office.

In DS230 coverletter I am going to use Oct. 3, 2008 date and She will not go to passport office until monday Oct. 6, 2008 that way they will not doubt about DS230 coverletter.

I think this is the cheapest and quicket way. Let me know, what u think.

I think I am right and u r hoping that I am right as well. My assumption follows:

Did u have last touch at USCIS on Sept. 27? If yes, then they send for people who got approved from Sept. 24 to Sept. 26 to NVC on Sept. 27. NVC received approved files on Sept. 30 and assigned case # as it came in sequence. Since last three digit represents sequence and that three digit is high for me. So, my case # is after all you guys who approved on 9/24 and 9/25. They didn't get a chance so they haven't update AVR.

Notice that I got my case # by talking to operator.

If u talk to operator, u will get ur case #. Best of Luck.

I am sure ur NVC case number assigned yesterday. Matter of fact, NVC case # is assigned for all USCIS approvals between sept. 23 to setp. 26 yesterday. Because my last three digits of case # is higher. and that represents # of case assigned within same day.

If u still not able to get ur case # through AVR then try talking to operator. u will have ur case # today. Good Luck!

Not true, mine apporved on 24th and NVC yet to receive it though...

how is that possible with people getting approved on 26th got case# assigned and earlier approved got nothing???

Best of Luck.

i already spoke to Rep at nvc..and she advised they did not receive anything yet..

I faxed the DS230 Cover Letter and NOA2 to my father-in-law today. He and my wife are going on Friday to get it using just this two. I had already sent the packet 3 pdf to her a long time ago. I will probably tell her to take it with her.

Okay guys, an update and a question.

First, my AOS Package was delivered today, yeah Fedex, took two days and only cost $7 woohoo.

Question. In the DS230, my husband did not have a relationship with his father and does not know his birthday but he is now deceased. Can you put unkown for birthdate of father?
