Okay, all my payments have been made. Today i will be checking and rechecking my I-864 package to make sure it is all correct. Then soon as it says paid, i will print out the barcode and mail it to NVC. :thumbs:

The bad news is that, my husband is not as up to date on his stuff as i thought so it loks like it will be a December interview for us. :bonk: I tell you i love that man but sometimes i want to strangle him. :bonk:

I got the first set of papers back from my wife and for some reason on the DS-230 where she had to write her name in Chinese she wrote it in english. She did it right everywhere else. Oh well she has to send me the rest of the documents anyway so we will get it fixed this weekend.

Happy you got your payments out. I totally agree with you, after explaining precisely to my husband the exact PCC he needed, he sent me the wrong one. Now I am waiting for the new one. Men.. but we love them.

I called today to see if my NVC case number was generated but they haven't received it yet. I will probably call this afternoon and tomorrow again. I am now trying to get all the documents ready. Couple of questions.

-I was planning on submitting I-864EZ. I was going to submit past last year's tax return and w2, current pay stubs, about last 2 months. Is this enough?

-Question of Police Certificate from Passport Office in India- Any of the indian member try to get one recently? What I was going to do was create a DS230 cover letter after I get the case number using James Shortcut and send that to my wife along with NOA2 letter. Will this work?

My wife has filled out the DS230, has a copy of the passport page, original birth certificate, true copy of marriange certificate, police certificate from district police office, two passport size photos. She will send above to me soon as she is able to get the police certificate from passport office which is asking her for a call letter. I am hoping the NOA2 and DS230 cover letter that I generate using James shortcut will be enought to get this. Am I missing anything?

What is everyone else doing to obtain the passport office certificate? Sorry to discuss something that has been discussed before many times.

Anyone out there approved in September? My case has been recieved at NVC but no case number assigned yet. What about you. Let's work on this together. :thumbs:

I just received email notification that my petition has been approved yesterday, September 25, 2008. My husband and I are excited since we did not expect it to be this soon. He just upgraded my petition to IR-1 last September 19. I really do pray that this is a good start for us. When should we receive the notification and the instructions and what should we expect after NOA2? Thanks!

Where do I attach the 2 passport photos for the ds230? i am planning to send them out tomorrow.

Also, my husband suppose to write all the address he lived since he was 16. He put all the address he ever lived? Will this cause an RFE?

Jbhypno, call and speak to live operator by calling 603-334-0700 then 1 & 5 your case will be there on Mon or Tue don't wait for the AVS to get updated they don't get updated frequently. Good luck with rest of the process. Rmusic

NVC automated system still has no record of my application. However, I called and talked to a live agent and the documents were received at NVC on the 24th. It was true because she confirmed my phone number by giving it to me first! So I know she had my papers.

So, if anyone has been waiting for a while, I suggest trying to talk to a live person. It took me all day to finally get through.
