Haha...that's because I've been hogging the phone lines...Sorry!

I'm glad you got your AOS Bill. Good to know that it really doesn't take all that long. I haven't been able to get my IIN from any of the operators (5 tries now) and I was a little concerned about how long the wait would be for the snail mail...

Woohoo...let's hear it for "movin' on up!"

This is complete BS. My I 130 and I 129 F were approved on the same day, sept 3rd. The I 129 F process has gone forward, but the NVC has not received the I 130 application. The NVC reps say that they will not look into it until 90 days, and that is how they answer every question. There is obviously a problem somewhere with the I 130 application. I have also mailed them a copy of the approval notice for the I 130, but have not heard back from them yet.

Should I go ahead with the I 129 F application process?

Any advise would be very helpful.

I think they stop scheduling for the following month on the 18th. So if you want to be scheduled by the end of this year, i think your case has to be completed by the 18th of November to get scheduled for December. However, it may also depend on the country cause sometimes for certain countries, there is a couple months of wait for an interview.

Naomi, if you also have W2s to send w/your turbotax docs, that's fine. But tax transcripts are easy to order and they arrive quickly so you might want to do that. If you don't have the IV documents yet, going for the tax transcripts and sending the AOS stuff later won't slow you down. Tax transcripts are simply more authoritative.

My wife and step son cases were approved on sept. 16. The online page doesn't have anything updated since they last touched it when they received it.

I am a US Citizen.

I hope that my wife and step son can come soon, My wife is 7 1/2 months pregnant and I will be going there for the birth. I hope that everything will be alright... BTW..it is a boy. How do I put my newborn into the cases ...pre-interview or do I have to file again for him..

It took around 6 months for the approval to come. Anyone know how much longer will I have to wait if everything goes perfect for my wife to get an interview. 3, 5 months or more?

Thanks in advance for those that read this and have the time to reply ..take care.
