I'd have no problem with any of McSame's personal stuff if he wasn't running on the sanctity of marriage and family values platform he's running on. Live and let live. I'm all for that. But McSame just wants to live and not let live. That's the issue at hand. Not that hard to understand, really. You should try.

I don't understand this at all. I don't think I can equate religion with spirituality. I certainly can't equate claiming religious values with actually living the opposite. Why is it ok for a conservative Christian to mess up but it's not ok for a liberal? I'm honestly confused.

McCain’s new wife stole drugs from a medical charity; it doesn’t get much lower than that. Worse still, she used her employees’ names to obtain drugs and even enlisted some of her staff to pick up those prescriptions on her behalf. If I would have gotten caught stealing drugs from a charity, I would be serving some serious prison time, but money talks. So McCain dumps his first wife, because really, she is all messed up in the looks department, and goes on to marry his new sugar mama. He supports strict drug laws, but only for the regular Joes not himself or his family. Yea there is the person I want running my country, he will have different rules for different folks, and you better damn hope you are in the top 1 percent of the wealthy, cause if you are not, you will suffer. I just am speechless that the American public buys all this propaganda. Cindy McCain should be doing some serious time for her drug offenses, there are people in prision for life for the same thing she did, but now she could be the First Lady of the United States. When is it not ok for a liberal to mess up? That's what they do. It's been de rigor for liberals to mess up and be excused for "being only human", even hailed. Clinton was vigorously defended for his WH dalliances with Monica and other women. For libs, it was a personal issue between he and Hillary. But then, libs have Hollywood and MTV morals as role models. If it feels good, do it, is the order of the day.

Also, even though you are quite keen on stereotyping, not all liberals have "MTV values." It might shock you to know that some people who aren't Republicans value life (all life, not just when it suits them) and morals. Bill Clinton was as much an azzhat for cheating on his wife as McCain is.
