Happy Tuesday MENA!

I'm so tired today. Hardly slept but that was because I was playing with my early birthday gift. :dance: My hubby and my Dad bought me a beautiful 50in HDTV for my bday. Since the babies have been born I have been addicted to movies and I can NOT wait to be watching them on this thing...LOL. I can even plug my laptop in and watch the Arabic movies we download on it! YAY!!! :dance: (Ash thinks I will never have control of it...I'm thinking she maybe right...so her idea was to buy the boys makeup and girly things for their birthdays!! :devil: )

My gift to myself was a treadmill...LOL. So now I can watch TV on this monster and work my bootie off! :devil:

All you need to do is add a mini keyboard and mouse to the treadmill and connect your TV to the Internet and you are all set. :P

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

Hi guys,

I was so happy about this weekend...my husband is ocming back from egypt saturday at 1pm after 2 1/2 months away. he is flying from amsterdam to houston. sorry about the bad typing but i just got out of class and i dont have that energy. Should I be concerned about the hurricane ..I havnet realy kept up with it today cuz i have been in school and Im going again in 15 minutes...I can hardly remember what we flew over from amsterdam to h town but its really buggin me since I really miss my husband. We tried to avoid flights near sept 11 and now a hurricane is coming. So what does that mean?

Hi guys,

As long as its only a tropical storm they will still fly in (from personal experience - it's like a reallly scarry rollercoaster ride) but more than that and they will re-route the plane and give refund or ticket for next flight able to go in. Unfortunately, if he doesn't have a transit visa he won't be able to leave the airport to go to a hotel while waiting for another flight. He might be able to opt for a flight into a different US city so that he can at least spend the night in a hotel before coming home.

Um... maby he should just call the airline?

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

My power at the office came back on today :dance: :dance: :dance: I get to go back to work for the next 2 days - then I leave for Seattle! :star: :star: :star:

It's a good day :) I just hope our power at home comes on very soon. There's no place like home. :innocent:
