The status of our file is that our file was assigned an NVC# on 3rd Sept. 2008 and guess when we sent out our file???? 29th August 2007. For 1 whole freakin year, we didnt hear anything from the USCIS. They were sitting on our file and hatching eggs. When I see other people's timelines, I feel like man, I must have done something really wrong in my life to have had this kinda timeline.

I am still waiting for those freaking DS forms so that I can fill em up and send it back to them. This msg. is for all the people who have recently started the procedure and are getting impatient. Just hang on, there is a long wait ahead. I hope not as long as ours...Best luck.

Thanks God i am happy to see ur post it gives my hope that maybe just maybe they will send our simple k1 to nvc soon too we sent ours in aug of last year

you should use loto's guide to help you get through the process faster. if you use this guide you should be done with NVC in a month. if you go the other route its like 3-4 months. here is the link:

If you are waiting for your DS-230 forms, then I do think you have paid your bill already at NVC??

Doubt Lotto's guide will be helpful to you anymore now that you have already paid your bill, maybe you can try Jame's Shortcut and try generating the Coversheet.

If you haven't yet paid your bills then please go through lotto's shortcut lotto's shortcut is much faster.
