We filed these papers first of May, received the NOA, had biometrics appt and now we are waiting for finalization of these papers. Our receipt numbers start with MSC. Anyone have any idea how long it might take for final papers to come to us. Can't get DL without them and can't travel to his home in Morocco without AP papers. Let me know please

Did you get a RFE?By now you should've gotten it already, have you tried calling USCIS?

USCIS advise you to call them after 90 days of wait from the day your NOA was received.

06/23/2008 - I-765 correction sent

06/25/2008 - I-765 correction received

06/30/2008 - NOA received, biometrics scheduled

07/11/2008 - I-485, I-765 touched

07/15/2008 - Biometrics

09/14/2008 - 90 days since NOA, no news about my EAD.

09/15/2008 - Called USCIS, no holds on my case, they made an inquiry on my EAD.

09/20/2008 - Got a letter saying they are working on my I-765 actively and there's nothing they could do, I have to wait for 6 more months till I'm "out of the" timeline again GRRRRRRRRRRR

09/25/2008 - Infopass appt.

Since you haven't received your EAD within 90 days of your NOA1 you can make an Infopass appointment and they will get you the EAD. A friend of mine just did it and got the EAD in 5 days. They will also expedite the AP if you have a good reason to travel.

I have called USCIS several times. All they do is read what is in front of them, like a rehearsed message to everyone. Then when they do listen to me, they say we are still within the 6 months processing times. I am getting tired of listening to their speeches and they don't even hear what I am trying to tell them. How they got their positions there is beyond me.

So calling USCIS is a waste of time. All they see is when we filed, and that we have our receipt numbers for these forms.

So anymore suggestions would be appreciated. He can't get Driver's license without final papers.

As the other VJ members said, make an infopass appointment: https://infopass.uscis.gov/info_en.php

Good luck!
