OK, I'll put an assumed NOA-1 date in VSC list, based on the OP's post.

Watch for the biometrics letter. It will have your appointment date and also your new case file number. The number on the NOA1 isn't good for checking on anything.

I recommend making a copy of the biometrics letter so you have the new case number.

Hi Ivancho1231,

That's good to hear that you got your NOA. It must be a relief for you too, that you don't have to worry for another year about your green card expiring. By the way, what is the date of your NOA (so that it can be updated on the VSC status list, since your info is there already)?

Now the real waiting at the VSC begins for you....

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC...)

P.S. To lisa71: I got my NOA about a week after I sent in my application. For more information about my I-751, see my VJ timeline. Hope you get your NOA soon too.

today we recieved the NOA that's good we are in the process of waiting

Thans for your support!!!

How long did your NOA take? We filed about a week ago and my card expires in two weeks!

it took a week so this week you will recieve it!!!

Congrats to all with NOAs

My husband got his NOA yesterday too. We sent it 8/29/08, they signed for it 9/2/08 (not bad considering it was Labor Day weekend), the NOA was dated 9/2/08, and we received the NOA 9/9/08. So now the waiting begins........ and continues......................

We sent ours to Cali (CSC) and I even though I had the old form ready to go, I did and sent the new form that came out 3 days before I mailed it. It is always good to check the website for updated forms and information, although you will hear it here just as quickly.

Hi SnowXTC,

No wonder you got your NOA so quickly, as you filed at the CSC! You'll probably get your case approved quickly there too, as they are quicker in processing cases.

Good luck with your immigraiton journey too.

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC...)

P.S. I hope you don't mind, that since you are at the CSC instead of the VSC, I deleted your name off the VSC status list, and thus asked someone else on the CSC status list to post your information correctly there instead...Believe me, I think you'd rather be at the CSC than at the VSC...

Congrats to all with NOAs
