Nope, had nothing to do with gerrymandering and redistricting. However, your defensive attempts to negate what was done sure tells me you're defensive much like Aficionado about racially-based acts committed by Republicans fully knowing most blacks don't vote for them, and for a reason, of course.

Your pretty defensive for guy who throws accusations about and can't back anything up. You do know that most of loose charges you bring mean nothing without a court case to document voting rights violations? You guys lose an election and scream fraud everytime. What happened to the stolen election of 2006? Never heard fraud there about that because the Dems won, right?

2000 was where scrubbed black votes decided an election, 2004 it continued, but debatable as if it actually decided the contest. Nonetheless, the lack of black votes, and the lack of transparency and the lawsuits against Diebold and even Sequoia that followed showed how easily these machines could be tampered with, combined with no paper trail to add to it.

Sure pal. There were international election observers, Democrats everywhere, heavy media coverage but the conspirators won again. The left has to be brain dead by comparison. I take it you won't bother voting in 2008 because McCain is sure to preprogram all the election machines. Show us the court cases which ruled Diebold rigged the presidential elections?

But hey, don't let the facts stop your rants. Blacks had it perfectly fine when slavery was ended right? Right. No wait, blacks had it perfectly fine when the Civil rights Act of 1964 was enacted right? Hah. Only idiots think racism is ended because of a ###### law or amendment passed.

If you had some facts beyond your race baiting about slavery with no clue about Civil Rights Act of 1964 procedures you could elevate yourself beyond the level of a paranoid Internet buffoon.

To be honest I encourage you and your ilk to post more conspiracy theories because it means the Democrats have no incentive to change tactics because their ideas and candidates are never really lose but the ignorant electorate and the unproven widespread voter violations are the reason.

Affirmative Action

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Just putting in my two cents here. Putting aside Michelle's thesis, I'd like to know where some of you live in the United States. As a Canadian moving to the state of New Jersey, the most densely populated state in the US and in an extremely urban county, I can honestly say my views on race have changed dramatically. Call it geographical or cultural, but my views are very different from what they had been in the 23 years I lived in Canada.

In the past few years I have realized, in my case and I have seen it in my friends here, that views on race really are impacted greatly by location.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Actually, I was helping Black Box Voting tabulate how many fuckups the Sequoia voting machines had here in California.

However, being that I'M NOT A DEMOCRAT, your lame ### attempts to assume so are just that, lame. Nice try though.

Well, courts refused to hear it because the election commission has no god damn paper trail to audit the thing.

These machines have been growingly de-certified because it has been shown they can easily be tampered with, and with no backup paper trail to audit them, they are the first and second source, which makes no sense at all, of recounts.

If you had some facts beyond your race baiting about slavery with no clue about Civil Rights Act of 1964 procedures you could elevate yourself beyond the level of a paranoid Internet buffoon.

I'm a white person, I have nothing to be paranoid about, right?

To be honest I encourage you and your ilk to post more conspiracy theories because it means the Democrats have no incentive to change tactics because their ideas and candidates are never really lose but the ignorant electorate and the unproven widespread voter violations are the reason.

Yeah, whatever, more accusal of Democrat garbage, and everyone who points out this country's flawed ### voting system and politically motivated attempts at underfunding areas to ensure they don't have enough voting machines (wonder why the crowds of black voters were standing out there for hours at a time in Ohio? it was all over TV -- of course not) is a conspiracy theorist.

Way to go, Captain America. Blindly defending, who knows what.

Missing the point. I don't think so.. Reality check 101 for many here.

Why doesn't Micheeeeelle go to this poor kid and tell her how much she disliked her time at Princeton.

This kid would give a freakin finger for 1/1,000,000th of the opportunities she has in America.

Four years of an Ivy League education and Michelle came out race obsessed. That's not unusual or shocking for a student to take the easy route and write about themselves and their experiences but she didn't get a wider vision of the world.

She complains about how rough it was for being black at Princeton but that's not a real ordeal but something to be proud of. There are plenty of kids who get their applications rejected and an Ivy League degree opens a lot of doors.

It was written by a college kid in 1985 but she still whines years later about America is a "downright mean place" so did she learn anything since 1985 even after all the good things that have happened to her and her family?

She and her husband had a chance to raise issues concerning blacks in America at the DNC but decided to go with the "Cosby" image to as to appeal to mainstream America so Michelle sold out and Obama disowned the black community (his words) to widen his appeal.

I see your points. They do have their basis in being relative to the actual environment that America has been up to this point in time.

However... what do you want them to do? Polarize their voters during a moment of accepting something like a nomination? Give it a break.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

"My experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my 'blackness' than ever before," the future Mrs. Obama wrote in her thesis introduction. "I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don't belong. Regardless of the circumstances underwhich I interact with whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second."

What I don't understand is why some people DON'T believe it's possible for this to have happened? I don't see this snippet as whining, just stating what her experience was. And I think the key is that she was dealing with whites AT PRINCETON... for the most part probably wealthy and probably coming from backgrounds that didn't include many well-educated, upper-middle to upperclass blacks.

In other words, dealing with the actual 'elites' that are precisely those that form part of that benefit group on the receiving end of Republican policy. Hmmmm.....

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Race in Princeton Township, NJ

77.45% of people are white, 4.75% are black, 12.74% are asian, 0.13% are native american, and 5.17% claim 'Other'

.

The U.S. is 73.9% white and Princeton Township is 77.45% white. You guys think that's a big difference? Makes me really wonder if either of you got anything out of education beyond recess and lunch.

Of course! I forgot Aficionado has the college transcripts of ALL of us. How could I possibly think that Michelle Obama or anyone who is black would possibly get into Ivy League by their own academic merit. I am, really, a naive idiot. Carry on.

 Do you just like arguing for the sake of it or something? It just shows how personal you're trying to make this in that you've got to take a simple statement of fact and use it as a dig to suggest that "us guys" are somehow uneducated. I'll say this for you - you really don't pick your very battles well -

Clearly it hasn't occurred to you that population demographics vary quite drastically across towns and regions...
