I love when people call or come to the door about all this political stuff. I just say "I'm Canadian. I can't vote." They either hang up on me or walk away. :)

 i'm gonna have to try that.

In my opinion that's the reason why religious and political topics should be banned in every forum but in the Vatican Pope fan club kinda forums and the republican and democrat forums in their own websites. Not because I like to silence the freedom of expression of others but because people just tend to say what they think and don't listen what others say if it's contrary to their beliefs. In other words, "I speak and I don't want to hear what you have to say and vice versa," none sense.

I think if more people actually got involved in the very political process that we are supposed to be involved in, things might be different.

The government takes advantage of the fact that MANY, MANY people do not vote or take interest in this country's politics and this is bad.

We just sit around while congress passes laws that violate our civil rights cause politics is 'boring.'

I vote and I talk about politics because had history been different, I wouldn't have been allowed to vote. Suffrage -the sacrifices a lot of women made to be able to vote made it possible for me to have a say.

So, what I say to people who are sick of hearing about the elections, put on Cartoon Network or Disney LOL. My kids watch it all the time and there's never any campaign coverage on those channels. :star: Then again, you may get sick of Hannah Montana like I do.

It'll all be over in about 9 weeks, after the elections.

Wow. Is it that soon? Yikes!

It's like when the Christmas music starts the day after Thanksgiving and plays until New Year's.

No no no, GF. The Halloween decs go up in stores in August. The Christmas stuff goes up in September and I don't think there's ever any Thanksgiving stuff.

Every forum I go to on different websites, on TV, yadda yadda is either about Palin, McCain or Obama... maybe its cause I can't vote, I don't know, but I was just wondering if anyone else was tired of hearing about politics? I can't have a convo with anyone without one of those names coming up.... ahhhh!

Tired?

No. This is just starting to get good.
