Isn't Palin denying this claim made by the former librarian? Without some kind of evidence (email, letter, note, audio), I don't see how we can go by the word of one person.

Oops, my bad, the living bible is banned along with the dictionary. To be fair, this is a generic list of books that crazies want banned to some extent or another. Ie Harry Potter promoting witchcraft.

Uh, guys - where there is smoke there may be fire, but the alleged librarian incident supposedly took place in 1996. Harry Potter wasn't published until 1997, and not in the US until 1998

I'm assuming she has some sort of proof. There's no reason why a baseless accusation means anything unless there's at least some evidence to support it. Anyone can just conjure up a list. With this day and age of politics and smears, given the severity of something like this, it demands something substantial.
