I`d like to know what do you think of this :

At 1st they did set my interview on October 7th, 2008 at 7:30 AM , I asked the U.S Embassy to postpone it for me until 27th Oct . because there is some paperworks that i have to do and my fiancee have to do the Evidence support paper (sponsor paper) which is it important i guess , she could do it After 3th Oct . But i might have the papers that i suppose to do it done before the interview Time.

the embassy told me that they cannot accommodate my request for scheduling in October. so they will scheduling for the month of November. i sent them E mail and told them that the expire of my NOA2 till 17th November , so they sent me mail back saying that my interview on 7th October .

so what i suppose to do now ? should i go to my interview on 7th Oct ? or i have to E mail them again ?

and what If i fail in my first interview because there is lost papers ? they will refuse me or they will give me new Date for the next interview and telling me what the lost papers ?

I`m so confused now  . so i need to know what do you think , and want to hear some good advices from you guys :)

Thank you Very Much .

Hi Man! I was kinda in the same situation as you are now. Heres what I did. I had an appointment in London embassy on the 12th of August! unfortunalty i didnt have the Affedevit of support! yet, so i wrote a letter to the embassy and said that I lost some relevant documents to the case, and that my fiancee is aware of that and working hard to collect all the paper and asked for an appointment in 4 weeks.

they wrote back to me 3 days letter saying that they have given me another apointment as requested! My soon to be father in law, mailed the affedevit of support straight to the embassy as mentioned in the packet 3. bcoz he does not want me to see his personal details.

My advice, just write to them again, and explain the situation to them IN DETAIL and ask for another appointment. and there should be no problem. and by the way my appointment is next week in london. wish me luck

hope this help

It's best not to mess w/ your interview date as it may postpone longer than necessary. Does Kristen know you're going to the interview? As M4E said, I thought you 2 broke up.

i said we`re Kool :) and Yes she knows that . so how come i said she cant do the evidence of support paper before 3th Oct lol :P . the Issue is if i go to the interview and i dont have that paper . they will gives me new interview time ? or they will Refused our papers ?

Thanks

Why would anyone question whether the OP's petitioner is aware? I think that is taking the matter too far.

That is because we know more about his and her story than you do.

As one person stated, they will do the interview, and give you the 221g with what is called a "soft denial". The wording sounds harsh because it states that they can't issue the visa, but all that means is that they can't make a decision until after they have all of the paperwork.

The interview is almost an entire month away. I can't understand why it will take so long to get the affidavit of support. If needed I could get that together in a couple of hours. Is there new requirements now?

Seriously guys. He's talked to the embassy, been given a date to expect the Afidavit of support. I think they are "kool"

Boundries anyone? Perhaps the couple knows more about their relationship status than us, you think?

I think someone suggested to bring something showing that the docs are on their way.. good suggestion :)

Take care and good Luck,

Lisa

I agree Odai! Its my understanding from my lawyer, if you attend your interview & do NOT have all your papers, they will put in a paper advising you of what you need to provide for them in order to be approved. ALSO, AWESOME suggestion that you have Kristen write a letter & if possible, have it notarized & scan it or fax it to you stating that the AOS is in process & that you will receive it shortly. This way, you can show the officer that you are aware of ALL the documentation that you will be needing.

Lastly, have you completed your medical examination? Do you have your GID Police Certificate? Are all other requirements completed????

Good Luck Odai!

u can go to USEM this oct.7..... done ur medical exam before the interview.

they will ask u to send them the lacking documents as long as have it. if there no other problem then the moment u will submit the documents they ask thats the time they will process ur visa. just expect for a longer delays(a month maybe or more).
