If you want to change/add the info, please use latest one as "Reply", then remove "quote" and edit for your info.

1) Don' change/remove font info since it is using fixed font size to help formatting.

2) check the number of characters including "." to adjust format.

Does anyone here receive Biometric Appt date with NOA1?

My NOA has no mention of Biometrics.

Application Received: August 12,2009

NOA1 Received: August 17,2009

NOA2 REceived: November 24th, 2009

NVC:

NVC Case number assigned. Dec 03, 2009

E-mail's Registered Dec, 04, 2009

DS3032 and AOS Fee e-mails received Dec 09, 2009

DS3032 sent via e-mail: Dec 08,2009

AOS payment made online: Dec 08,2009

AOS Fee Status changed to PAID: Dec 9,2009

AOS package overnighted: Dec 10,2009

DS3032 mailed by Beneficiary: Dec 10,2009

You will get a separate biometrics letter. In my case, I got both the NOA1 and the biometrics letter on the same day.

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

3 biometrics appointments already? WOW, that is fast!

Vermont used to be the fastest Service Center but now it seems it is the slowest.

My case has been transfered to NBC "in order to assist with the process". Is that standard or is it because they are too busy?

Well, I've been getting kinda jealous because we filed before all ya'll, but you guys have been getting NOA 2 and nothing for us ):

But we got NOA 2 today. Biometrics is in 3 days! Boy, they sure don't give much notice, do they?

Case info on the website does not reflect this either. Last touch date on there is well before the notice day on NOA 2. Oh well.

Studying for the test is going to need to commence soon (:

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

I received my NOA1 while on vacation last week :) Says case been transfered to the NBC, so far so good, waiting for the BIO. Last week a friend of mine got the Oath ceremony done so he will be able to vote for the coming elections I am so jealous!!!

Time for me to start reviewing the 100 questions..

I'm curious as which test September filers will want to take, since I have the choice I will take the older test. What about you?

Given the trash we have to choose from in this country, why would voting matter to you?

If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed.
