please stand by, someone will be by shortly to tell you that poll is wrong and obama is going to win.

 You can count on that!!!

...and here I am.

Bush's approval rating is at 30 percent....McCain's campaign promises line up with Bush 90 percent of the time. Over 70 percent of Americans believe we're going in the wrong direction with this country. Although I've got to hand to McCain for trying to distance himself from Bush and his failed policies, it's only a matter of time...most likely during the debates, when most Americans will come to terms with the choice they have to make at the voting booth.

The "Bush-McCain, 90%" claim doesn't hold much water for me. In 2007, Obama voted in line with Bush 40% of the time, which suggest that he agrees with McCain's vote maybe half the time. That's good for bipartianship, but it's not really the point the claim is trying to make.

The claim is that by voting that way, McCain is in effect reminding voters that he is more interested in continuing Bush's program of government above the circumstances that have gotten many of them in hot water. Its a no-brainer for Obama to remind voters of that relationship.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Especially considering the new "change" mantra out of the McCain campaign. Oh, so you mean the last 8 years were an utter failure?! Maybe we should give the same party a chance to screw things up some more. If the American public actually buys this bullspit (as Peggy Noonan would say), we deserve to be a third-rate power. But, I guess that makes me unpatriotic, doesn't it? Not wanting the US to be a third-rate power.

We deserve whom we vote for. If voters are stupid enough to want change to be more of the same, then so be it. We'll continue redefining reality, I guess.

Approximately 73% of all statistics and poll results are made up.

Of the remaining 27%, 15% are suspect.

Of the remaining 85% of that, 34% are misleading.

Of the final 21%, no one can really understand what they mean.

So I wouldn't really put much faith in these polls.

so that 73% could be absolute rubbish too then?

There are also 3 types of statistician - those that can count, and those that can't.

The final 21% is actually 16%, proving that you fall into the second (or is it third?) classification of statistician.

Uh, no. I refer you to the first 73%.

AHHA please get ready some liberal wacko on here will come along and tell you that you are all wrong and there is no such poll out there. They are in complete and utter delusional denial that there boy Barry Hussein Ovomit is not going to be able to deliver for them. Typical August choke by Democrats. AHHAHAHAH

McCain overcame a 9 point deficit to a 10 point lead from the convention bounce. Very nice!!

Why fuss about it. November is right around the corner. Then we will know who is right and who is left not.

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensedregistered pharmacist". (because somebody gives a damn)
