Interview, Guyana Embassy!

Good Morning Fellow Guyanese or anyone with the experience.

How long does it take to get an interview at the Guyana Embassy after your case has been recieved. I just started the NVC process. I am just trying to gage if my husband could possibly be here for Christmas. If i do my payments and Choice of agents online, i can shorten my NVC time but i dont' know how long it will take to get interview at the Embassy. Has anyone had experience with this and can tell me? Is there a way to get a quick interview once your case is recieved? Help. :star:

Hi Mrs Rowe,

It appears that the wait in Guyana is quite long.

Our case was completed on April 2008, but to date an interview has not been scheduled. I have contacted the NVC, US Embassy in Guyana and the State Department. All have been unhelpful and refuse to give a time frame.

Most Guyanese are so scared of the process that they do not talk about their cases, and compared to the number of Guyanese immigrating they number of us in this forum appear quite small.

we are hoping for an October Interview but i called today and it is still not scheduled to date

Oct 16 07 - Called USCIS - No NOA 1 Recieved - Told it was never mailed and they will now send it

Oct 17 07 - Touched - Most likely due to Call and NOA 1 Request

Oct 24 07 - NOA 1 in Mail

Jun 12 07 - ACTUAL receipt/ priority date on NOA 1
