I was on my way to bed and receive 3 e-mails from "CRIS" Then I read This case has been approved. On May 23, 2006, an approval notice was mailed.

They got my petition on Feb 23rd we were approved on May 23rd, It took 3 Months

Now I hope that when I go to see Van in July, That she will receive packet 3 while I'm there.

2008: Moved to China
2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

It's a different place, called "Texas BBQ", it's actually quite good. Same quality as US but about 1/3 the price PLUS those Tiger Beer Drafts are tasty. The USA Consulate also holds a 4th of July party and they used to allow normal citizens (local expat residents) to attend but those days are history. Look in Vietnam News (local English Paper) and you'll see advertisements for 4th parties sometimes. Check "Amcham", means American Chamber of Commerce, they hold 4th parties. Then there's "Mogumbos" bar on Thi Sach Street, it's a little $$$.

I will be sure to try out the Texas BBQ while I'm there this time. The last 2 visits there I ate at so many different places. Van took me to a Building Called "Prudential" I think it was over 100 stories tall but not positive. They serve pretty good Ice cream on the top floor. Also with a real good view of the city.
