Even though it was already stated twice now, which is it?

Yeah you have said this in about 15 posts now. Though I am yet to see it anywhere.

Point out to me where I suggested slavery is an issue today.

If it is not an issue why even talking about it like it happened yesterday. Or that anyone here actually had anything to do with it.

You still have not refuted anything, just made up #######, refused to read, and made several contradictory statements like shown above.

As soon as I realize somebody talks ####### over a certain point I just tune them out. As I usually do with #6. I started reading over some of your posts to find where you made the point about right wing, conservatives and Christian / white males and was surprised to read some of the ####### I skipped. Like your view of so-called successful engineers, basically low paid Indians, at silicon valley.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Why is it ridiculous?

His point was that firstly, in all these pages of discussion that you haven't once denounced slavery and instead seem to be making deliberate arguments to mitigate it, justify it or otherwise make it seem like a pleasant life.

Secondly that you can't provide any concrete examples of how whites americans have suffered (systemically), in comparison to blacks.

To be honest with you - you are making a tenuous argument. Few people (of any ethnicity) have a life of roses - but then again few people were subject to institutional racism even after the end of slavery - right through to the 1960's. You're scoffing at social disparities between blacks and whites, disparities which manifest themselves most obviously at the socio-economic level - justifying the argument with your apparent incredulity that "they don't go to the library" or "move to where the jobs are".

Some shameless audacity that you have there.

Denouncing slavery is just stupid. It is as dumb as someone protesting naked to stop global warming. A pointless action which basically makes the feeble mind feel better about bull #######.

Slavery happened. It was inhumane and wrong, people with a half a brain functioning have acknowledged it and moved on. The world has much more important issues to deal with like poverty, starvation, genocide, threat of world war and so forth than worrying about garbage like has the white man suffered. What sort of an idiot comes up with that sort of #######.

If denouncing slavery is stupid - I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the holocaust.

The only point thats been made here (and in all of the threads on this topic actually) is that there are lingering social inequalities arising from the repressive policies of previous governments. I don't see why that's such a controversial idea for you...

Probably because he's too busy being focused on the poor whites being criticized.

Right, Aficionado? Poor whites suffering at the hands of... blacks? Native Americans?.. no, wait, WHITES. No matter how you spin it, it is whites who did this. And even today, it isn't blacks trying desperately to ban gays from marrying. It isn't so much even women (including white women). This push is coming primarily from white men. This racism against Mexicans, for instance..

Who is out there being Minute Men? Is it.. people who are black? Nope. Is it people who are brown? Nope. Is it people who are WHITE. Yes! Ding ding ding. We have a winner.

Still on the defensive. No one in this discussion is asking whites to apologize for anything. I wouldn't apologize for anything and the person who asked me to could kiss my ###. However, your inability to actually focus on the central points being made clearly shows both your sucking at debates and your willingness to go well off into left field for no reason at all.

No, as the many with similar views will tell you I try to not waste my time debating with people who I will never see eye to eye. Sure sometimes I might get carried about and ####### on a little to stir the pot but I generally do not have the time for it. When I see someones first post state how basically the white male is to blame, I draw the line straight away.

Yeah people who actually give a #### about the nation.

Racism against Mexicans, man you are on crack. Probably need to travel more to other developed OECD nations for a start.

Sorry, but, I don't feel like repeating it yet again, so, reading comprehension is going to be your problem, not mine.

Read post #2. Again and again until you get it.

That's interesting, because most of the grads I see here are white, and those who are from India and graduate here are high-paid workers, whereas the Indians you talk about come over on H1-B's and get paid lower.

I had to come and laugh at this again "This racism against Mexicans, for instance.."

Gezz.

Yeah those poor Mexicans for jumping the border, breaking the law and disrespecting the sovereign of a foreign nation. Apparently in Canada, a country you have mentioned before, they let anyone walk in. Hence why their visa process is probably 5 times more thorough than that of the US.

What is high paid for you? Are they earning over $200K. That is high paid.

Even considered being elitist by us white folk you despise so much.

Uh-huh, so white old people looking out on the border for Mexicans (I doubt they're looking for Canadians or Europeans) give a #### more than everyone else.

Indeed, because traveling to the Netherlands will sure tell me all about white guys wasting their time sitting at the border looking for Mexicans in the U.S.

No engineering grad makes that much unless they work for someone like NASA.

Try around $50,000 - $70,000.

Those salaries are reserved for top-tiered management like CFO's.

Probably because the majority of people breaking into the US are Mexicans. Also probably because the majority of people who are here illegally are Mexican. If they were Australians they would obviously be targeting them.

Well SVRT, I just got my friend a job in NYC on a 6 figure salary doing network support work. He only has cisco certification to his name. Not only did he get a visa but is also on an excellent salary considering the economy.

Why are whites the only ones hunting for Mexicans at the border?

I guess they're the only ones who care, huh?

Software Engineer

$57,000 - $86,000.

CEO

$86,000 - $165,000

Your friend is being well overpaid for the market price. My ex's brother worked for Cisco themselves (guess where they're based?) and made over $100,000 a year in high-end management of B2B sales. My mother, with Cisco cert, working in a NOC, made only $70,000. Indeed, overpaid, or exaggerating.

Well salaries are low there. This is why I never bothered trying to work there. I do have an engineering background.

I don't exaggerate with stuff like that. No need to do so.
