Original/Certified Birth Certificate of beneficiary (with an attested translation provided) and a copy I GUESS THIS NEEDS TRANSLATION?

Translations

All documents not in English, or in the official language of the country in

which application for a visa is being made, must be accompanied by certified

translations.

The translation must include a statement signed by the translator that states

that the:

• Translation is accurate, and

• Translator is competent to translate.

submit both translated forms and the translation. some only submitted the translation thinking its the only thing they need to submit, only to recieve an RFE later on which further lengthen the visa process..slight delay, but in this whole process, delays are really frustrating even if it's just a week..lol ^_^

so to be safe, submit both..

Original/Certified Marriage Certificate and a copy - WILL THIS COPY BE SENT TO EMBASY FOR INTERVIEW?

NO, the original/certified documents you have sent to NVC will be kept for records. however, they will make copies of your submitted I-864 which they will forward to the USEM in the beneficiary's country upon schedule of interview. your wife needs to bring another copy of her birth certificate, marriage certificate and police certificate during her interview with the translation of course if it's not in english.

Original/Certified Passport Office Police Certificate for Beneficiary and a copy WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE POLICE CERTS AND DO THEY

NEED TRANSLATION?

Original/Certified Police Clearance Certificate and a copy [/b] SEE ABOVE QUESTION?

requirements are country specific, including the police clearance/certificate. refer to this link below for Poland's specific requirements.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/reciproc...ocity_3272.html

MANY OF THESE DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED FOR THE EMBASY INTERVIEW.....WILL THEY BE FORWARDED FROM THE NVC?

not many, please refer to my previous answers to queries above.

SO WHO GETS THE DOCUMENTS THE NVC OR THE EMBASSY?

the USEM (where your wife will be interviewed) will collect these documents. have her furnish everything that needs to be submitted that day so she won't have to come back another time or be asked to submit missing documents if ever she fails to bring it with her during her interview.

Brad, there are many holes in the reply from MJ. I would caution you in accepting what they wrote. Especially that the NVC keesp originals and that your wife NEEDS to bring copies of those documents and they must be translated into English. Your wife should bring copies in case things get misplaced by NVC or the consulate. If it is in Polish, then it doesn't need to be translated unless it is specifically requested by NVC. Click on the link below and read carefully what is needed by WRW.

Warsaw is an appointment post. Thus everythign should go to the NVC first.

there's your answer... good job MJ

So we dont have to get duplicates of actual documents for the NVC and embassy interview? The NVC will forward the forms such as birth certificates and marriage licences and police records....or do we have to obtain other certified copies or will photo copies be good for embassy since NVC will have origionals?
