Well its hard to believe that tomorrow will be one year since my son and I moved to the USA.

We had our AOS interview on May 17th and were approved, which was one week from being here a year.

I finally have my Alabama Drivers Lisense now.

I have been working now for 2.5 months and things are great at my new job.

My son has finally adjusted here, althou he did have some hard times for the first 5 months being here.

But he was only 16 when he got here, and found it hard leaving his family and friends behind, but he finally has made some great friends and is doing just fine.

I have made so many nice friends at work. One women and I just clicked the day we met. So we have become great friends. I am thrilled about that. :D

Things are wonderful with our family and life is good.

There still is times I miss home, but not as often as when I first moved here. So anyone that is having a hard time adjusting to your new life here, just give it time. It will get better. (F)

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Congrats :dance: I just celebrated my 1st year last weekend... and in June it'll be our 1st wedding anniversary, time sure flies :yes:

Hi Peggy!!! Haven't "talked" with you in quite some time...glad to hear everything is A-ok, great, fantastic, wonderful! Sorry I didn't notice your AOS and wish you well, or a congrats.. :( so will say it now...YAY!!!! :) Take care, and hope everything carries on like it is now.... :)
