How long to complete case at NVC?

My wife was issued an RFE, which she sent this past week, it was received on friday, the DS-230 was received way before that on August 26th, now how long will it be until the case is completed and forwarded to the Embassy in Caracas? desperate, today's is our wedding anniversary and we have to spend it separate it, it is not fair.

Oddo,

It takes the NVC anywhere from 2-4 weeks to process any documentation you send them, whether it's a form, a payment or an RFE. So if they received the RFE this past Friday, don't expect an answer from them within a few days of them receiving it.

Give it some time. If you sent the DS-230 already it means you're almost done with the NVC.

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
